the funny thing is i had this song in my head earlier, before i started watching this episode. maybe i saw the episode years ago, but i was tickled to hear the song on the radio when it was just playing in my head moments before.
I believe it's the Andrews Sisters...they were famous for the "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" and "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree". This tune is Bei Mir Bish Du Schoen. The Guy Lombardo Band also released a version. The Andrews Sisters is the best.
The details are fuzzy, but I think Scully kissed Skinner because he helped get to Mulder....and scully's always a little nutty if her precious Mulder's in mortal danger :D
that is from the episode where mulder ends up in the 30's ala the bermuda triangle, and skinner gives her classified info. on mulder's whereabouts even though it could jeopardize his position as asst. director.. she looks mad because he is pretending to reprimand her in the hall (where his colleages, like the cigarette smoking man are at) after giving her the info. so that no one will suspect that he tipped her off, and she is like, "ok, fine then".. if that makes any sense. :)

actually, "bei mir bist du schön" does not make much sense in German either ;) Literally translated, it means "With me, you're beautiful"...
