  • and the riff at 2:52

  • cttxlv you are right on with your comment. I miss them both too.

  • Ozzy never really recovered from Randy's death. Randy was a wizard little brother to him. I hope Randy and Stevie Ray are jammin and comparing notes, They were both more cerebral than people knew.

  • I had an eargasm for real! Sexy as hell!

  • i cant believe the live video on after hours show is removed from youtube i always got chills wat the hell

  • Comment removed

  • NOW THIS IS THE SHIT!!! R.I.P. RANDY!

  • w w w . uber p r o au d io . c o m

  • I tried posting the website to see all what kind of gear Randy had here is the website

  • "_

  • Are you kidding me! This is gold! Randy is the epidimy of metal guitar heroes, It don't get any better than him. I strive every day to play like him. I finally realized that is never gonna happen but its so much fun trying.

  • @spinvilchy someone edited a version of this song and took out the keyboard, posted it on here and got royally fucked for it sadly. but yeah i agree

  • Wow Fucking Epic not the same as Tribute at all Thanks.

Beautiful sound to the Soul you realize the Treasure You Have.

    Thanks Again

  • there is a quality to Randy that is unmatched and sends chills up my spine anytime I hear it...RIP RR you were a shooting star that fell too soon.

  • Was it polimically sent........RR was beyond amazing. Those low notes evoke something primal. When he plays you do more than hear it....you feel it.

  • rhandy roads el mejor!!

  • @royitoroy El grande es tambien!!!!

  • He had to have incredible focus and heart to play like he did. He is a true artist, this song takes me for a ride every time.

  • I'd give my left nut to see randy and ozzy back then live.

  • @07CantonaKing id give both

  • good solo 2

  • VanhalenledEpplin7, the footage on the boxset shows he was pretty charismatic, he swayed back and forth on stage, an headbanged alot, and there's alot of pictures of him doing so

  • Was Rhoads charismatic on stage? He didn't look so in that After Hours performance but he sounds a lot more charismatic in these recordings.

  • you can't recreate that tone without a 10ft high stack of marshalls ...

  • I think that Randy did more in 2 or 3 years than Hendrix did in 4 in terms of influence and innovation. Randy wasn't a solo artist and that's why he didn't get more recognition. It was and still is all about Ozzy unfortunately.

  • Someone please turn that goddamn keyboard down!

  • Rhoads has to be one of the best, if not the best in metal and rock, ever. I've heard a bunch of great guitarists and know some that can play his stuff, but they sure can't do it like he did. The reason I like him better than Hendrix is because he played a polka-dotted guitar...haha.

  • Motherfuckin BAD TO THE BONE!!!!!!! He is a truly amazing guitarist and a pioneer is music!!!!! There will never be anyone like him!!!!!

  • forget your steve via and the rest of them if randy was still alive they would not have a patch on randy.im still inspired by his amazing riff,s.........god bless you randy

  • Man why couldnt there be more live video from the Ozzy/Randy days.

  • Every time I see some flashy guitarist, I keep myself from being blinded by listening to and watching Randy and Hendrix. They were truly the best, hands down.

  • muito massa

  • no tapping in the 2nd solo is amazing i dedicate my guitar playing to this man i learned his technques and now i can play anything thanks randy fro ur great talent and music man ull be missed buddy

  • After years of deep contemplation i have concluded Rhoads was pulled down to the pit by Lucifer himself to play a live show for the rest of eternity. Fuck a city in the clouds. I'll take a lake of fire to hear this live.

  • @FourTwenny Fucking-A dude,fucking-A.

  • It's amazing how Rhoads played stuff like this 30 years ago and there still is no one on this planet who could play like this.

  • to the four Maroon 5 fans that hit the dislike button: I hope you get severe constipation.

  • @DisasterBlaster500 Or disentary of the taint.

  • its been 28 years since music died.

  • man just imagine what the guy woulda accomplished without his all-too-soon death

  • Terraryzer won't be 30 years until July 2011

  • 30 years ago....wow

  • randy is a god

  • good song!

  • Ohhh Randy... Why oh why did you have to get in a plane with a coked up pilot?

  • @AndyLaRocqueDisciple that pilot deserves to be shuned for crashing such an amazing man

  • @doublejj58 randy and rachael were bot the only people he killed

  • @AndyLaRocqueDisciple because he wanted to...and he didnt know he was on coke

  • just amazing..

  • Randy used a couple of Custom Jackson Guitars, a 1959 Marshall Full Stack with Altec Speakers, MXR's Flanger, Distortion +, 10-Band EQ and Stereo Chorus, a Roland Space Echo, a Yamaha Analog Delay, a Vox Wah and a Roland FV-100 Volume Pedal...that's his sound and if you want to buy all that today it costs 12,395.95 and that's the cheapest i found each individual item online...just the pedals without the amp and guitar are 881 dollars, so that's more attainable for most...

  • Randy Rhoads was so great as an artist. Iv'e studied so many styles and learned to play many different people in the past years. But for some reason everytime I was studying Randy's style, I always felt like he was there coaching me , and I got chills when I noticed his mathematical equations and his many different ways he used scales in his soloing. Nobody ever touched my spirit(on guitar) like Randy did, and still don't. R.I.P. Randy...

  • @caincolesr Damn right man, well said. EVH got me hooked but it was Randy who made me want to learn how to play guitar!

  • dude... i dont agree. but even if he was... randy is a legend.

  • damn it

just let his comment show, even if it pisses you off.

  • u dont play guitar do u

  • thanks!

    I needed this one!

  • can someone link me the website that tells what kind of pedal randy used? it looks like he's got 10 freaking foot pedals

  • Crybaby Wah

    MXR Distortion +

    MXR 10 Band Equalizer

    MXR Flanger

    MXR Stereo Chorus

    Roland Volume Pedal

    Roland Space Echo

    Yamaha Analog Delay

  • the MXR distortion + is essential to randy's tone

  • How do you know that? its fantastic!!! Can you tell me what kind of pedal he used on the tribute album?

  • Randy used all his equipment listed above but the album's producer Max Norman touched up his tone a little bit to give it more "bite"

  • thanks man!!!

  • @tpain2345 it was a vox wah

  • @RandyRhoadsIsAwesome You may use any kind of pedal you wish but a bicycle pedals...Then, all you'd get is going round a round. Hope that helps!!!

  • @grumpypant lol \m/

  • @RandyRhoadsIsAwesome He has only 2 freaking hands

  • agreed.

  • simply the greatest song ever. RIP RR :(

  • Go die asshole

  • what did he say
