very nice tune, wish it had a bit of swing to it although the base line in good I think it would be nicer if beast 2 and 4 was just the snare drum. This would creat the swing. but hey what do I know. Im just a bloke with a keyboard with no sound. get me a hammer Im gonna ply this thing anyway.

I couldn't agree more. I have been following them for years and saw them early days in their careers when they were in London in a small pub and they were as awesome then as now. 747 is probably one of their best and most multi dimensional songs. Fantastic..

With comments like this...no wonder kent did not make it outside of Sweden. Your basically telling the band you all claim you love that "Hey guys.. you fucking suck in English" That just isn't true. Kent are amazing. PERIOD!

Totally agree with you Sundancekid747.

I am a Swede now living in Canada I have always loved Kent music and they do well singing in English.

It is just Swedes are used to always hearing the Swedish songs, this still doesn't mean Kent Can't make English songs.

I many times wish they did and made a go of trying to make it outside of Sweden.

They have extraordinary musical talent and i believe many would enjoy their music outside of Sweden as well.

I don't understand Swedish, but it's awesome in English. One of my all-time favorite songs. But the album version is actually 7:47 long (English version, too), with one of the greatest fadeouts ever. It's just chopped off here.

Jocke Berg should keep singing in Swedish, the lyrics aren't convertible to any other language. The feeling and depth vanishes. Learn Swedish if you want the real Kent - 747 :)

this was the first kent song i ever heard - back in '99 it was on the radio (in the uk), in english. so even though i prefer most kent songs in swedish, i'll always like the english version of 747 best :)

ive heard it, I also like it a lot but have the bias of hearing the English version first. However, I like most kent songs in Swedish, just not this one. "If you were here" is much much better in Swedish
