  • if somebody knows where can i get that ghost dog's necklace send me a msg

  • Can somebody tell me what's the name of this awesome beat :D

  • hey, ciao,

could anybody here help me, writing the words that the two guys are telling one each other ?

I am Italian and don't understand

    thanks

  • @kominex

not only that but you just sound like a dumb, foreign piece of shit who knows nothing about life in north america, and considering the fact that you said "i regret im not nigga but white" what the fuck kind of english is that? clearly since you dont speak, write or understand this language properly, you dont understand rap and clearly just think that rap and hip hop is just saying nigga and acting like a kid from the hood... you are a fucking shitbird

  • @17thchamber Your comment is one big contradiction, he stated he is from the Czech republic, of course he isn't going to have a firm grasp of the english language and life in north america, you fucking dunce.

He was paying homage to the soundtrack, you ignorant, illiterate buffoon.

  • Kominex you can always be a whigger

  • Ghost Dog's life style is my model.

This movie had big influence on my view of life.

However, I do not think it right to die.

    武士道とは己の道を貫き通す事と見つけたり。

  • @ABSOLUTE0015 Me too but I feel it is honourable to die with dignity when your time comes even if you have knowledge that its time is upon you.. I think that was Ghost Dogs strongest maxim ;)

"Life is nothing but a form of animated death" ~ Rza aka Prince Rakeem

  • THE LAST SHALL BE FIRST

  • @Kominex I love the RZA and this film and that doesn't make me wish I was black. Jim Jarmusch made this film and he was white. Stop trying to be Eminem and get with the real world: you're white. Not judging you or anyone else, just saying.

  • RZA The Greatest !

  • Some legendary shit right here

  • P.ower. E.quality. A.lways. C. E.verthing = PEACE

  • yeah

  • I did grow up during this era. Respect for each other? Are you F'n kidding me? I lived in a TOP 3 crime/poverty/child birth death rate city when this movie came out. I can remember automatic fire every night during hot summers, coming from the Ville as Gangsters were murdering each other over selling drugs that were ruining an entire generation, both the users, and the sellers. Fuck, I still carry a.45 or 9 daily, LEGALLY when going downtown. Because I don't want to be RESPECTED to death.

  • @drenM1A1 BITCH U AINT FROM MEMPHIS 10

  • @drenM1A1 that's because you don't have Clout

  • @Kominex nejlepší film vůbec! Rza je prostě král beatů.....

  • One of the illest movies!

  • One of my favorites films of all times..That is a great scene..To be honest all scenes in this films are so perfect , and very detail oriented ..

  • @jonnynozzer My fave was always "Positive Energies Activate Constant Elevation"...

  • @jonnynozzer haha wow. I've seen this movie so many times, and I never picked up on that. It just makes me love this movie even more.

  • @DevillYouth There are a lot of hidden messages in this movie and its my favorite of all time. peace.

  • WU TANG

  • "It is said that what is called the Spirit of an Age is something to which one cannot return. That this spirit gradually dissipates is due to the world's coming to an end. In the same way, a single year does not have just spring or summer. A single day, too, is the same. For this reason, although one would like to change today's world back to the spirit of one hundred years or more ago, it cannot be done. Thus it is important to make the best out of every generation."

  • One of the tightest beats in hiphop history

  • Had this the first day it came out.....and still watch it on VCR...

  • why rza is holding a towel and why does he have brass knuckle in his hand?

  • @123asd260 Its not a towel, its a bandanna. Those aren't brass knuckles. Those are RZA's rings. They're sorta spiral like spikes. cant fuck wit Wu Ice.

    Power Equality Allah C's Everything

  • @thapowercosmic thnx m8

  • rza shoulda used gza's alias, hees the genius!

  • @killAgram070 Dirt Dog was Genius 1st back in the day. They felt it suited Justice better.

  • @thapowercosmic

I know, but given everything rza has achieved over the years, beyond music, i felt it would suit him better. Gza is def. a genius on the mic but rza goes beyond that

  • jim jarmusch rulez

  • I love this movie.

    Russia, Siberia, Irkutsk

  • @detection123 any samurais in russia?

  • this is 1 of my all time favourite movie scenes

  • PEACEMB??

  • What a masterpiece Ghost Dog is!

I could watch it repeatedly & it would never get tedious.

  • lol@ RZA wearing a cross!!!!

  • this is fucked up, my mum and I say the exact same thing when we see each other, hmm!............great film.

  • YESSSSSSS, i had no idea that was RZA when i had seen this, but now looking back I love this even more now!

  • @seven1976 Its useless to think of color or looks or upbringing in measuring a samurai. Learn your ignorant self a thing or two and look up a man named miyamoto musashi. He was unkempt and often late, coming from almost nothing to become a great fighter and philosopher. before he was a teenager he had already fought a swordsman three times his age with a wooden staff, ultimately killing him with one blow. The spirit of the samurai is an embedded sense of justice, loyalty and honor in all of us.

  • @R3DRobot Except the real Samurai were bullies and murderers. The history books never tell you about public executions to test the sharpness of they're blades, the raping and forced marriages of women, The oppression of the Japanese Shogunate, The hoarding and extorting of rice, and limiting the rights of it's subject peoples. Like very other warrior culture, they were just as barbaric, but with better looking armor and some fancier weapons.

  • @R3DRobot The only Samurai I can think of the measured the Seven tenants of Bushido was Hojo-Ujiyasa. In Sengoku era Japan, during the intense period of Anarchy and war, Ujiyasa housed and sheltered peasants from the wars of the Daimyo. He is the only Samurai that I can think of who had any ounce of true honor in him. The rest during that period through to the Meiji era were just sick murderers who got their kicks for killing civilians who looked at them wrong.

  • @R3DRobot fuck ya i agree

  • Dopest track

  • RZA explains his whole thing with the Five Percent in "The Tao of Wu". For the record, he doesn't buy into all of it -- although he does have a penchant for numerology; also, no, he doesn't hate white people. He rejects the Yakub shit, etc. Oh, haha, and he's surprisingly knowledgeable about chess. Good book, albeit it doesn't mention boo about his musical technique.

  • It is actually an allusion that Ghost Dog is aswell as RZA a member of the 5 Percent Nation.

They spell the word peace in the Supreme Alphabet:

    Power

    Equality

    Always

    Cee

    Everything

The Supreme Alphabet is a system of interpreting text and finding deeper meaning in the Nation of Islam's 120 Questions used by members of the Nation of Gods and Earths (aka 5 Percent Nation).

Wu-Tang-Clan and RZA are members of the NGE.

  • I regret im not nigga but white from Czech republic. Great movie, greatest soundtrack- respect to rza.

  • @Kominex You an still be a Wigga, there's hope for you yet.

  • @Kominex What matters is the size and shape of your heart.

  • @Kominex lol u should never regret who you are as we're all equal, much love from Poland!

  • @Kominex Zdravim z Prahy, cizinče.

  • @Kominex Don't get caught up in the romanticism of American entertainment. It's nothing like real life, while black people may seem more cool, in America there are many more intrinsic advantages to being white (not for any race related reasons, but social ones).

  • @navalverde12 This is much more than just two people showing respect for each other in the street. With Samurai teachings still being found in today's society, this is the depiction of mutually offered profound respect between two deeply wise Samurai who each abide by their bushidō (Samurai codes) in each and every moment of their life. The irony is that; if ordered to by their masters, they would kill the other even in despite of their most profound respect for each other. PEACE

  • @Kominex what the hell. White guy said he aint a 'nigga' and you gave him 25 thumbs up?

  • @TheLastZulu i peeped that to... can't stop the ignorance...just recognize it. Because there was nothing " Respectful " about his comment in reference to this video.

  • @Kominex Dude. Wtf. Me too!

  • @Kominex uh i dont think anyone regrets not being a 'nigga'; i think you mean you regret not being black, which is no reason to be remorseful. you are who you are. your ability to understand transcends your skin color, the proof of such a statement is found in your own comments.

  • @LamonicBomb Guys please stop responding to my half year old comment. It spams my email hard. It is best soundtrack of all times but please, chose someone else. Good luck.

  • @Kominex lol...well...be that as it may, your comment still exists TODAY and people can read it TODAY, not a half year ago. people WILL respond to it if they feel some way about it, thats just a given. however i was not trying to assualt you, just stating what it made me think. ya gotta expect people to react to certain things, regardless of how long ago it was.

  • @Kominex That's deep. I didn't know there was a choice.

  • Power and quality

  • PEEEEEEEEEACE. NO PEACE

  • i wana hear rza kill that beat

  • Firstly this beat is the most genius thing that ever came to my ears ...

    secondly this scene is amazing

  • @1Drummer88 I was honestly let down when I bought this soundtrack -- what makes the whole movie work is that RZA does his thing, and its all instrumental...the whole movie has a constant great beat going, which -- much as I love rap, I gotta say -- in this case, vocals ruin the effect. Far better to keep it simple, a la the movie. (The album is very vocal, heh).

  • @occlusian there's the American version which blows and the Japanese version--far more authentic.

  • that track ain't on the soundtrack album...

    wanna find it

  • @Arln88 The track is called "Inmates To The Fire" and is on the Sunz Of Man "The Last Shall Be First" album, track 12 to be right and exact. Peace

  • real talk i wish i grew up in this era when people had RESPECT for each other

  • @Terelldotcom Really dude? People fucked eachother over just as much then as now. Open your eyes?

  • rza has some dope looking gold knuckles in this clip, rza has always had great respect for the martial arts community, I think he likes the honor, respect and discipline involved.

  • best movie ever, watched this movie after breaking with my girl and shit made me feel so much better

  • Comment removed

  • @Secret111SquirreL i cant but if you find it pls let me know thnx

  • They say it right before the beat drops perfectly!!!

  • @morrisfly85 you are a r-tard

  • @POPPATREFLIP shutup Kiwi bastard...

  • damn...that was Rza..

  • this raw beat is best to listen while walking in the street man (btw its on the Ghost Dog japaneese soundtrack) and i love how they hide that peace

  • 15 people hates peice :O

  • Wats the song please ,???

  • mutual respect of the warrior class - if you live outside the law you must be honest, keep to the code...

  • i read it used to be like this in new york in the 70's or 80's but if you didn't say the right thing then you'd have to fight

  • seeing this beautiful part it makes you think RZA in this movie could probably have a movie on his character and it would be somewhat similar to the ghost dog story

  • whats this osng ?

  • where can i find this instrumental ?

  • This is genius ...

its like two people meet on a sidewalk ... that simple ...

but still its so interesting that i can watch it unlimited times ... and its still amazing

  • Why thefuck would the police be stopping twopeople just walking likeeverybody fucking else? huh. You have this automatic built in racism alot of of you ass holes harber.

  • The most epic scene of two brothers passing each other on the street.

  • I know they're warriors of the 1st degree, but what do they do when confronted by the police for a typical pat down? I don't see them fighting the police.

Anyone got an answer for my question?

  • @10mac10s What would they do if being patted down by a cop or two?

They'd most likely shoot both of them on site regardless of the situation.

Also the fact that both of them are most likely armed 24/7 given there line of work, If a cop were to pat them down and find's out that they are armed with an loaded unliscensed firearm that's an automatic jail sentance for the both of them right there. Given the fact that they'd be ready to die at any given point i dont see how takping out a cop would

  • @ryufire12 -be problematic for either of them as going to jail would not be an option for the both of them. if this were to happen there respective boss's would have them taken out for fear of them snitching or the fact that the either of them would not want to spend the rest of there live's in jail where they could have been killed just as easily + the fact that if orderd to they'd probably take a cop out without question so it wouldnt be make much difference in this situation.

  • looks like two fucking confused black guys, they think there japanese!! how funny!

  • @bibi12879 to bad your the one who's confused

  • @repkillaqueens whoa! dont hurt me!.... Afro Samurai!!!....:/

  • @bibi12879 SMH

  • @bibi12879 In you're mind blackmen can only be confused. The reality of the situation is and always has been one of insane fear of blackmen!

  • @bbakerful fear of blackmen! lol! haha! please dont take yourself serious! i bet bet a old one arm redneck can kick your ass!

  • @bbakerful Don't pay that any mind i'm black and its easy to see why they would say something like that because people like that (btw I'm not just talking about whites because all races have these people) live on stereotypes when they see something like this they don't understand it so they automatically think sometimes wrong with a person because they do something that is not stereotypical of that race or group. Is it fear?Maybe but I think it is a lack of understanding more so than anything.

  • This movie is a musical Adventure !

  • "Always see everything" is a reference to book Musashi, it was said to him by Takuan, a priest. It holds far greater meaning than simple P.E.A.C.E. acronym. But it's still pretty cool that they say peace...

  • I love that beat!! one of my favorite movies of al time. <3

  • whats the point of this? rza plays no part in any other part of the movie why have him walk on here?

  • Fucking amazing

  • Jim Jarmusch is a genius.

i feel blessed to have seen some of his incredible minimalistic powerful film-masterpieces at personally-crisp-times when the scenes and stories resonated with a depthness in me, i so often dont remember exists.

  • damn, that was nice scene

  • the name of the sound please.

  • wots the beat?

  • @jacob3432 the beat is part of the score that RZA made for the movie. you can find it on the Japanese edition of the soundtrack album. it's called simply 'RZA's Theme'

  • @SynysterTruth just found it. cheers

  • RZA could have taken him.

  • peace on you my brother.

piss on you to you son of a bitch!

  • @clickswitchh so's ur mum.

  • Best O.S.T of all time? No doubt!!!

  • how is this famous? i couldn't even understand what they said

  • @whitelancer64

    Power

    Equality

    Always

    C

    Everything.

    it spells PEACE

  • @Luk391 See is a whole word. Not a letter.

  • @Luk391

sick :D i never noticed that

  • @Luk391 Holy shit. I must have watched this film 100 times and I'd never noticed

  • @DrJReefer Seriously?

  • @Luk391 damn i never peeped that, that's crazy u gotta get one more thumbs up, that's gangsta now keep it real did u figure that out by urself?

  • Comment removed

  • Two guys coming from 2 directions wearing two different symbols. Power and Equality, the Sword. Always see everything (all seeing eye), then both leave in different directions. Looks like the Yin and Yang to me, but, I think you are also correct...understanding is a 3 edged sword

  • @CJ8DAY They was showin respect to one another. what they said (Power Equality Always C Everything) is a way of sayin peace.

  • @whitelancer64 fuck you

  • "Power ,equality" Always seeeverything my brotha..... dope scene

  • I uploaded the entire film.

  • @LiquidSolidRaiden I cant decide whether to be angry at your or saying thanks. On one hand you are opening the movie up to a whole new audience; on the other the creators of the movie are not getting the money they deserve. Anyway, awesome film. Peace

  • Watch this 1000 times, it never loses its impact.

  • great scene, check out the "Beware of Dog" sign behind RZA. Jim cracks me up.

  • @freethestates you're gay

    Power

    Equality

    Always

    C-See

    Everything my brother

  • @mentalproductions1 good catch:}

  • @mentalproductions1

I've seen this movie dozens of times & never caught the spelling of "Peace" by the characters. Makes it even cooler now that I know that.

  • @skullgamedam its always good to know that

  • whats name song pleas reading

  • @rodinnyemail sunz of man - Inmates To The Fire

  • I got to meet Forrest many years back, & he commands respect. Such a cool guy too. RZA is a legend. One of the most talented people to ever grace the music biz, & a philosopher to boot.

A geeked hard when I first saw this scene. Meeting of two utter bad asses.

  • @skullgame all respects to you, Sir -- I had never seen "geek" used as a verb ... I might have to rethink my entire vocabulary

  • @DoctorPatient

Ha! I hear you. The loosening up of the rules of grammar have afflicted me ever since leaving college. Surprised you've never heard anyone use geek as a verb though. Usually I hear something like "geeked out" or "geeked on _____". To think, I made straight A's in English my entire time in school, then I let things slip when I get to "da internets".

  • What is the song? Send me a PM!

  • They are speaking Supreme Mathematics...Ghost Dog's character also knows this culture. When he is sitting in the park listening to the thugs in the park, they are rapping using Supreme Mathematics. This movie is mainly about coexisting subcultures within a larger culture.

The thugs, the mobsters, the redneck hunters, the creole little girl, the ice cream man, the guy building the ship on the apartment building, the indian on the roof with the pigeons...abstract subcultures in American culture.

  • @HaloedG

The freestyle in the movie isn't Supreme Mathematics. Royal Fam and Wu do use Supreme Mathematics, but that verse is not about Supreme Mathematics.

    Peace

  • Who the fuck are the 14 people who unlike that
