  • Sadie, you always come through with a positive vibe. I thank you, but my abs don't!

  • What yoga tops do you wear? What line? They're so nice.

  • @sistahc70 It's a black shirt. Exercise is not about style.

  • You are a beautiful yoga teacher. I love your videos. Thanks for sharing. Do you have one on getting into fish pose? Namaste.

  • Thanks for the note! Glad you like it.

I actually don't teach fish pose, since it's contributing to neck injuries, like herniations. When you arch your head way back like that, it puts a lot of pressure on the spine, and can cause bulging of the discs.

Anatomically, it's not safe, so I have removed it from my teaching! For the same benefit, do Bridge Pose and clasp the hands under you. Same inversion, same chest-opening, safer neck if you keep a space under the neck and don't flatten it.

  • That makes sense. I like the pose for myself, but I can see why that might not be safe in a class. Do you have any warm-up videos? I feel like I am doing/saying the same thing in the first 5-10 min of my gentle yoga class and need to get inspired to vary it up. Thank you, again. :) Love your work.

  • Great! Thank you so much for posting these.

  • You're welcome! This is how I got powerful in the core--just shaking it up but continuing to move and stretch in different ways so I can go longer and get stronger! Have a great day!
