That's amazing... I just bought a Martin HD-28v and would love to learn to play this song... Is it possible for you to send me the guitar tabs to this if you have them?
Great flatpicking! Very enjoyable.I have to use my fingers I never could use a pick like that. I really liked hearing this.Man that was so very nice .
@bluegrasssingingman Thanks. But I'm not talking about a pic up that would be drilled into the side of the guitar. The put one inside the guitar and have it wired out the bottom where the whole already is for the guitar strap to go. Even that will ruin the wood's aging?
@bluegrasssingingman I don't want to come across as argumentative. But the new Martin D28 already come with a whole where the bottom peg goes to hold the guitar strap. They put the pick up in the guitar and the wire comes out the end. So they don't have to drill a whole. At least I think that's it. I played a D41 with a built in pic up tonight. Man was it sweet!
That sounds amazing, both the guitar and the song. I was looking up some demo videos of the HD-28V and ran across this, definitely a welcome treat to my day. Thanks for sharing!
bought marti HD28 receive it soon. But now I want a taylor 810. But no one around my area has one to hear. The 810 played on this site suks. don't know if its the taylor 810 or the his set up. If its the 810 then "no way". any opinions. also comparing to DN8.. help!!

Hi, I like your tune very much, and your playing is great- thanks for posting. I am thinking of getting this guitar- it sounds great. What kind of mic, pickup or amplifier are you using with the guitar?
great job man! love the hd 28 v ,im thinking of tradeing my d28 to get one, is there much difference in the sound ?t i love the aesthetic of the the hd 28 v
@telestratman65 It's one of the best Martins. The HD-35 is the best one. I tried a HD-16 LS. I couldn't believe the bass and ring. No doubt the loudest guitar I've played. It will give the HD-28 V everything it can handle and then some more. I was playing the HD-16 LS at CA House in their guitar room. The people in there left the room because They couldn't hear the Taylor they was trying out. ThE HD-16 LS was loud you could hear on the other side and in the back of the store.

I want to get a Martin HD28 and put a pick up into it... without drilling. Would that be a mistake?
BeatleUniversity 1 year ago
@BeatleUniversity
I like HD28 and regular neck.
If you are finger picker, you had better choose HD28V.
Because the sound is larger.
I don't know about pick up.

Ive had both Martins and Taylors. Taylors are pretty.
But like pretty women they are all gone now. Martins are like good wine. Definitely keepers.
Might try a Taylor before you sink the bucks. No comparison to the HD. Good luck.

I think HD-28V is one of the best Martins I've ever picked.
The sound of HD-28V is more wide range and larger than regular D-28.
