Love Dave's vocals....would be great to tour Fastway again, I don't care for the style of Flogging Molly. Dave also did an album with Mandy Meyer in a band called Katmandu....great album.

Dave King is doing very well with FLOGGING MOLLY. He's older, been around the and back block. He's not about to drop a successful band, selling records and making good money to return to a rock band...as much as I love them,....only a handful of people remember and care about today. There will always be fans, but never in the numbers DK is accustomed to now with MOLLY.

uhh, i think dave king is in a celtic folk band these days, so his rock life is but a memory. sad as shit, too. i was a huge fastway and dave king fan back in the day. at least we have the albums to cherish!! rock on, dave, wherever you are!!

twowheeler, it was a bit of a tongue in cheek reference. flogging molly, aside from electric guitars, would never be confused for fastway, was really all i was trying to get at. dave's singing style now is a bit more a punk yell than the air raid siren he had back in the 80's with fastway. i'm not taking anything away from him, i was just alot more of a fastway fan than FM.

Having seen them twice and owning all their CDs, I am well aware of this. Guess I should have used the [/sarcasm] tag..... nighthawk was being a bit cheeky, too when he said "folk" band (and I missed it).

I remember Fastway from back-in-the-day and I liked them. I am also a huge FM fan. The disparity in DK's voice from then to now is amazing.

Does this guy even know the lyrics?? Dave was one of the most underrated metal singers of the 80's as was Fastway was one of the best bands of the day. Great guitarists never die keep rocking Fast Eddie!!!
