  • Hello, my dear comment-finding retards,

if you have a mac and uses chrome, go to "see all" next to the all comments. Then, press edit on the toolbar, and press find. Then, type in "javiertxu1993". I should have a religion of my own for this.

  • 168 days low on food and water. yet to find javiertxu1993 comment.

  • Barney kills me hahahahahaha

  • "Si" means "yes" and you pronounce "si" as the English pronounce "C". So he said yes in Spanish but later joked it was her cupsize. Just stating the obvious.

  • si is italina you motherfuckers sotop being fuckin discussing about the video watch it or die in hell

  • @REDGame64 yes, but also spanish genius

  • @REDGame64

shut the fuck up you piece of shit...

  • People please we shouldn't be fighting here this is a place of worship to Lord Awesome himself Barney Stinson can't we all get along and just high 5?

  • wow, I see my coment upset some people. I think I didnt express it correctly. Anyways, whats up with the insults, I think I didnt hurt anybody. Btw, I do understand the joke, and im a big fan of the show. just chill and enjoy the video.

  • Fun fact: Si also means yes in French, but only to a question asked in the negative ex. "Are you not awesome?" "Yes, I am awesome!" Real talk.

  • @stilldistrakted :D si means yes in french? holy shit! youre a genius, you should teach me

  • @shockshotz Hey, I just figured instead of fighting, we all might want to learn something. Si means yes. and also if. Do not try to correct me, I took a high school French class.

  • @stilldistrakted Hey, I just figured out that youre missing a brain, yes means oui in french, but I'm sure you were paying attention in your high school french class :D

  • @shockshotz Wow, you really didn't read the rest of the first comment,. Oui = yes, si = yes to a negative question; a word we could totally use in English, y'know? It also means if.

  • @stilldistrakted Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I'm sorry I guess i missed the part where he asked a negative question? youre just fakking trolling, nub

  • @shockshotz Hm, well, not all fun facts are necessarily fun, but I'm sure someone else enjoyed learning that. It's unfortunate that they aren't as vocal as you.

  • @stilldistrakted Si can mean yes, but only if you use it as an answer to a statement. For example someone says: "You didn't go to school yesterday." You can answer with "si". But if someone asks: "Do you like cake?" you can't answer with "si", you have to say "oui" (which means "yes").

"Si" can mean yes if you contradict someone's statement, but usually it only means "if". Technically those are two different words, but they're pronounced/written the same. Don't correct me, I'm half french. =D

  • @Soyneil Ah. Yeah I know this, but I'm close with a Moroccan family who use "si" to contradict a question or statement. Like if someone asks "Don't you like cake?" you say "Si" and you get some cake. Maybe it's a cultural thing?

  • @stilldistrakted The phrase "Don't you like cake?" first implies that you don't like cake, but with the intention of you contradicting it. "Don't you like cake?" is a statement phrased as a question, thus the rule I mentioned earlier applies here too. It's similar to the function of question tags: "You like cake, don't you?" except that question tags mostly aim for you to agree to the statement.

Also if the intonation implies that "you don't like cake", you may answer with "si" too.

  • @Soyneil Oh, excellent! That's what I thought but I wasn't phrasing it properly. So basically someone says something that is incorrect ("Oh, he doesn't like cake"), you say "Si!" and delicious cake will be in your life, right? Glad Youtube can be a place for learning and not just trolls :)

  • @stilldistrakted Glad YouTube can be a place for language nerds like me =D

And thank god there is another person on this website that knows that proper spelling!

May delicious cake come along your way and bring happiness into your life!

    Yours truly, SoyneiL. =P

  • @Soyneil Lol. Watch the fucking video.

  • How do people not get that joke?

When he says "C", it first seems like he was answering Ted's question "You're talking about her boobs, right?" in Spanish with "sí" (which means "yes"). But then - and that's the funny part - Barney says that he actually meant "C" for the cupsize and not the Spanish word "sí" (which is pronounced just like saying the letter "C")

God, some people are just idiots...

  • @Soyneil in spanish de C is pronunced like a Z (zee) and "Si" is more... light to pronunce

  • @Asier2008 Maybe, I'm not a native Spanish speaker, but since Barney isn't either (at least I think so, he is full of awesome mysteries =D) the joke still works ;)

  • @Soyneil Even though I am French I understood it :) Barney's so awesome :D

  • @TheKink32 Well who's the one using wrong ortography and grammar?

    Idiot.

  • @TheKink32 Nice English

  • @Soyneil thank you for your explanation, i didnt understand when he said 'cup sice' , since i am from Spain and he speaks too quick (maybe like a lot of people, who didnt understand the joke)

  • @Soyneil what up!

  • @Soyneil For those who dont understand spanish i kind of understand how they dont get that part. But really, about the C as a answer to the size of the bra he mentions is abit right forth and easy to understand.

  • the joke isnt that difficult isnt it?

  • @thoemsen1 i know, but some people on youtube try to be smart asses

  • why are we discussing this? you're an idiot if you don't understand barney

  • What episode is this?

  • Ted: so.. these boobs, describe it to me ..

Barny: Okay, imagine the head of tow bald irish babies .. lets call them " blm blm blm " and " blm blm blm "

    Lily: stop it !!

  • I can't believe a joke this simple has spurred so much mindless debate... :/

  • this is a no brainer, why are we even discussing the joke?

  • Ted asks: "You are talking about her boobs, right?" Barney answers: "Si." This is first meant for Ted to be taken as a yes, but then Barney says: "And that wasn't spanish, that was cup-size" As in: "You are talking about her boobs, right?" "C." A, B, C, D and so on are all cup-sizes for bra's. Try saying the letter "c" out loud. Then say "si". They sound the same. Now you don't have to find it funny. But if you still don't get it, you really shouldn't watch the show.
  • @yellowsparklefish337 It isn`t funny anymor if you are so stupid that some have to explain it to you.

  • hahahaaha he say wadup and is... AWESOME!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @MLB893 lame

  • i love his "waddup". XD

  • OH FOR FUCKS SAKE!

SI means yeas in spanish. But the letter C in boobie talk, means huge!

    Barney Stinson ment C!

    Cup size = Boobie size!

  • @RKOViper2 C is not a huge cup size but okay

  • @RKOViper2 Huge? lol

  • i don't get what everybody's talking about?

Ted: Your talking about her boobs right? Then Barney says Sí, i know it means yes. But it sound like when you say "C", and that's what he ment.

Barney: Sí/C and that wasnt spanish, that was cupsize what up?

    hope you get my point

  • @ItsEbba

    Exactly ;)

  • si is chinese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

  • si means yes in spanish, he is not responding with yes, he is mentioning her cupsize, but both have the same pronunciation. thats where the funny lies. damn people on youtube can be a little dense

  • I'm spanish, the pronunciation of "C" is the same of "SÍ" in spanish, that means YES

  • si isn't italian

  • @XxPoolaxX

actually it is. and it also happens to be spanish

    and i know, being italian

  • "si" is italian!

  • @akis182 "si" in italian means one! Do not try to correct me, Im from teh interwebz

  • @TopaZProductions then you're the dumbest most fucked up person ever

  • @DoggyCircumcisedMe Dunno why I said that, pure dumbness.

  • what episode is this?:D

  • just C?

  • @pedinoway2 IMO full Cs are the best cup size

  • @geppegep i know, not too big or too small

  • "Si" means yes. and also If, but it has a different entonation. in this case means yes. Do not try to correct me, Im from spain

  • Well, not correcting but we can expand the information. :D

When the "si" means "yes", it is written with an accent: "sí".

When it means "if", it is written without it: "si".

    Por cierto, saludos, paisano. XD

  • we know what Si means xD but barny said "Si, and that 'wasn't' spanish that was cupsize, What uppp!" xD God I love this show. :3

  • @javiertxu1993 ur kind of a idiot right? Si = YES but barney means C (the letter - same pronounciation) got it ?

  • @micnaishkiter i dont think he got it...hes from spain, they run with bulls

  • @javiertxu1993 Phonetically, Si = C, which is the girls Cup size.

  • @javiertxu1993 I will try to correct you, since I remember a little spanish from my junior high classes with Miss Garcia.

There is no way you can have two different types of intonation on a monosyllable, the acute accent in sí (affirmation adverb or third person pronoun) is just to show that you're using that word sense instead of si (conjuntion or the name of the musical note).

So the only way to tell them apart is either reading them or taking them with the context. You were corrected.

  • @lalo05m Rules can't be applied everywhere. Take Names for example. In German, the last name Schmied, which should be pronounced "shmeet" can also in some cases be pronounced "shmitt".

I only learned a little spanish, sadly my teacher wasn't good, and because of that I can't tell you if in that case, what I just described applies.I get your point and I agree with you, but I also think that there might be a spanish dialect in which what javiertxu1993 said can, even if hard to imagine, exist.

  • @lalo05m You were agreed with.

  • @javiertxu1993 well congrat. you just totally ruined the joke..

  • @javiertxu1993 por qué decis boludeces?? donde esta la diferencia de intonacion entre sì y si ?? sos un gil !

  • @javiertxu1993 @javiertxu1993 por qué decis boludeces?? donde esta la diferencia de intonacion entre sì y si ?? sos un gil !

  • @javiertxu1993 That a ´ boy

  • @javiertxu1993 Well he was said C which is cupsize, you know breasts and everything, boobs and stuff... And he said that it wasn't spanish so it doesn't really matter what it means in spanish.

  • @javiertxu1993 Ya. But that's not really what this was about. He used "C" or "Si" as a pun.

  • @javiertxu1993

In this video, he means on cupsize "C". Not Si in Spanish. All tho yeah, Si means yes i guess..

  • @javiertxu1993 You're from Spain and you don't understand the joke, congratulation :D

  • @javiertxu1993

And yet here I go, trying to correct you. Oh and yes, I'm pretty sure I'm right. I used it twice in this comment already. People usually abbreviate ''I am'' as ''I'm'' and not ''Im''. You forgot an apostrophe.

  • @javiertxu1993 hey bud, if you dont understand jokes in American sitcoms, then you should stick to si-span or si.n.n.... what uppp

  • @javiertxu1993

do not try to tell us things we already know.

  • @javiertxu1993 Sorry, I just have to do it. While it's true what you're saying, "sí" is the correct way of writing "yes". "Si" means "if".

  • @javiertxu1993 HE JUST SAID IT WASNT SPANISH, IT WAS CUPSIZE. IF YOU ALL STOP BEING STUPID AND ARGUING, AND ACTUALLY LISTEN. HE'LL TELL YOU THAT IT WAS CUP SIZE.

NOT SI, OR Si. 'C'. YOUR ALL IDIOTS!

  • @javiertxu1993 I loved: Do not try to correct me, Im from spain

  • @javiertxu1993 lmao tard

  • Comment removed

  • @javiertxu1993 u might be the biggest idiot on youtube

  • @javiertxu1993 Yes and you're certainly NOT from Awesometown!

  • What does " what up" mean ??

  • actually, "si" means "if", but it's also used to answer a question, especially when the person asking the question excepts a "no" or another negative answer.

  • dumbass..

  • @Persholm1 actually, I speak french as my native language. I know what I'm saying.

well, I made a typo earlier, it's "expects", not excepts...

  • He says "and thats not spanish" loololol

  • @Brahz right, I was actually answering other comments

that's why I'm talking about french. But, who cares anyway...

    Let's end that ^^

  • "Si" is "yes" in spanish and italian

    In french "si" is "if"

  • yes, i'm spanish and i have studied french, it's wright

  • in french also is an answer for a question, like this:

    'Don't you see that?'

  • no its not retard

  • what episode was that from? :o

  • What up!

  • Amazing!

  • he says C which is pronounced like a spanish yes "sí". Sound joke

  • Good boy explaining the joke to everybody. Wanna cookie?

  • If the cookie was backed by your mother, hell yeah!!

  • Spellingflames really are a sign of repercussiveness.

    Also:

Want to cookie doesn't make sense at all.

    In addition to that:

Please make a fire and die in it.

    Kind regards,

    the Internet

  • See (spanish for yes), or 'C' (cup size).

He was responding to Ted's question with a play on words.

  • i know i undestood it after my comment

  • no he says Sí, and that wasn't spanish that was the cupsize

  • @Gurujunki777 C could be heard as Si,her cusize was probably C

  • it is yes for spanish too -.-

  • Si, it's yes in spanish dude, also in italian, but he says it in spanish
