Which Hamster Cage is Better ?

Both r cool but 1 has more space n 2 has more toys so I would say 1 n 2 r both the best I would like to hv my 14 hamsters n either of them (12 baby hamsters n 2 parents) XD n they were born this month (February 2012,idk wat day)

Cage #1 might be better because there is a lot of room on the bottom and accessories probably wouldn't croud around the hamster if you put a reasonable amount of accessories where as cage #2 probably wouldnt hold as many accessories unless you made it crowded bit cage #2 has tubes and #1 kinda scares me for the hamster because the ladder thingy is so steep but it's your choice so choose the one you want.

Respond to this video... Cage 1 provide better view and air circulation as well as space but look at that stair o.o quite dangerous! Cage 2, it's harder to watch the hamster but instead it has tubes and sleeping area. I like cage 2 better just becuz they have tubes instead of that crazily steep stair.

My own experience.

The first one is one Savic or am I wrong? Savics are the best cages in my opinion, one Crittertrail lasted 1 month for me and they can open the door pretty easly, while I have some pretty OLD savics in perfect conditions and they never escaped from it and I've had around 10 different Hamsters in my Savics, since I'm a professional breeder and registered in my country's Klub.

I would say number 2 because it is a CriiterTrail cage whitch is recommended, and it has cute tubes that hamsters love! did you know that you need to let your hamster burrow as much as they do in the wild? i have a outdoor cage for my hamster witch contains peat. My hamster makes burrows in it and he loves it! i put the peat in a 10 gallon tank and fill it really high so he can burrow. then i put him in and he goes nuts!! sorry this is getting long so i say number 2!

@hamsters451 it's not about what "you" like but what is the best for an animal. for a syrian hamster the minimum lengh of a cage is 1meter! and for a dwarf it's said to be 70cm but that's too small too.

would you like to live your whole life in a small cage? god. think of the animals and not of what you like better.

well all cages aren't really hamster proff, believe me on that 1 if u watch my video of my hamster casey escaping. they can manage to open cages, no matter how tight u may think they are

plus this also depends on what hamster u get. i'm guessing its a drawf 1 by look at size of cages as other hamsters need to have bigish cages
