I know that holding the Olympic flame is a huge honour but i feel sorry for the greek runners having to wear the torchbearers uniform designed for the coldness of Canadian winter rather than Greek autumn.

vancouver torch is a great design but it's flawed when the flame is lit.. the burnt part would turn black!!

@macoyjwb Congrats! I know a few people with relatives who got to run with it out East in Nova Scotia. I get to see the relay tomorrow in Newmarket, just north of Toronto.

it was designed like that cuz it will have to survive high winds, up to 60 or 100km/h when they're taking it through the northern parts of Canada
