  • I am I JACK CUNT i could not make maroon machine and i have to live with that as long as i live !

    FUCKIN HAT

  • The opening words of the instructer, "10 miler, 10 miles in 2hrs..."

I remember when it was 10 miles in 1hr 45mins...

But still, excellent video dedicated to the hardest fighting force on planet earth...

    The Parachute Regiment.

    UTRINQUE PARATUS !!

  • @Kobrakov Yeah I remember 1hr 45mins too. I think these guys might be TA who I think get a bit longer, not too sure.

  • Comment removed

  • @Skyswinger Yeah you're right, TA get 2 hours and regulars get 1hr 50mins

  • Goddamn music!

  • i trained in p company but messed up my knee and i can only be a tanksman but still proud to have finish p company and serve in the british army in the light dragoons

  • you will need bollox the size of watermelons to attempy pcoy............

  • 12 minutes per mile, fuck all... all though, it's easier said done, I'll have to see how I crack on in P- coy, if I get there, need to get me 1.5 miles done a bit faster first! xD any tips? I apply on monday btw ;)

  • @XxGREATxBRITAINxX ye heres a tip, run 9:00 and ask for PRAC joining instructions not ADSC and train to PRAC standard

  • big respect......would of joined if i stayed in england and followed in my dads footsteps

  • passed selection on the 19th and cant w8 to start training january 6th. i want that maroon beret so bad !!!

  • Do these guys get a lot of action?

  • U.K. Paras,I started there when I was 17 in roughly 1997,in2000 they had me operating Palliser and since that more,it made a fucking man out of me,a man I never thought i could or would be,A man I sometimes dont want to be,but they ver let me down, ever,I am lookng at going back before Im too old and the KIDS take over, mind you Kids these days are fucking pussis with no respect for fuck all, either us old school will have to teach it or national service in my opinion is a MUST!

  • Best vid i ever saw!

  • Three attempts at P Coy with 4 Para got there in the end at 36!

  • @watershed2100 Well done mate, you still got there in the end. . . Utrinque Paratus

  • @watershed2100 well done mate!!!

  • i want to join the parachute regiment more than anything in the world :)

  • what a epic video.. congrats my friend! this will definatly motivate me for when i do my training!

  • The best regiment in the world bar none!! I was proud to serve with 1Para

  • this video is ace, it gave me goose bumbs :-)

  • my son completed this and passed in 2007 . !!! the 1st response from him on seeing him after he completed it was FUCK THAT WAS WORTH THE MAROON BERET.

  • the paras now use the C7/8 instead of the L85 if i'm not mistaken

  • @JFMUFC26 Not quite, the Paras still use the SA80/L85 rifles, but the Pathfinders use C7s/C8s :)

  • Never been in the forces but proud to say i'm joining the paras. Ready for anything!

  • @Awsomeshit100 good luck with that mate, i no a good number of people who have failed this course, i only know 2 that passed, 20 weeks phrase 2, anyother infantry regiment is 10 weeks

  • In training for these now ;)

  • hey, i was just a line infantry grunt but these guys are awesome. well done and for those ready to join the ranks, dig in and crack on.

  • This video sent shivvers down my spine. Can't wait to join up

  • I cant wait for this, im starting my home training for this on Monday for 8weeks then the fitness test i hope i get in.. :)

  • Isso é que é uma tropa paraquedista de VERDADE!!!

  • I'm sorry but as far as 'home made' (if you like) videos are concerned, and videos in general, this really is brilliant. well done mate.

  • @281Harry cheers mate, hope it helps motivate you through your training and build up... at the end of the day thats the reason I made the video, not for all this Paras vs Royal Marines banter! 'jammy764' in a comment below summed it up better than I ever could.

Check out the video response, a video I made about Pcompany

  • I have so much respect for these guys, it's my dream to join them one day. Without trying to start all this Marines vs Paras crap, I'm sure they're both about the same in how physically demanding they are, but with the Trainasium, P Coy really is a test of balls.

    Utrinque Paratus.

  • Incredible

  • People...just enjoy the uploads. Only crows argue over a thread.

  • know it sounds stupid to say but this gets me pumped and ready for the Royal Marines, can't wait now PRMC January 11th, big respect to the Paras though, fucking good lads

  • @crouchtrac Mate...Mate...dont even go on for your PRMC... corse theres a fucking 42 victor company. Your going to have a fucking hard time in training if u fucking get there. You dont even sound ready motivated or fucking self diciplined. Having ago at me u kidding me. An NCO will fucking rape u sencless pall. Theres a 42 in blackpool deepcut and afghan. Dont start an argument. Whats your full name?

  • @DetectiveDaz - Victor coy is in 45 you bellend, wind your neck in and stop pretending your a RM

  • Anyone who makes comparisons between Marines and Para's is a fucking idiot. They are two different kind of forces, both proven in warfare, both elite and both better than the average infantryman of ANY country.

Maybe there is a bit of competition within those two forces against eachother, but ultimately it never gets childish, they push themselves to the limits, competing with each other makes them better. But you'd never catch a real Commando/Para bitchin on youtube.

  • keep safe men

  • what a tit head detectivedaz , i bet your fat

  • @micktaylorpara lmao i wouldnt mind been fat. I guess the fucking marines keep me in shape dip shit. PER MARE PER TERRAM dick wad

  • @DetectiveDaz If your a marine then you should be ashamed of yourself. You make the marines look worse by acting like such an arrogant twat. Marines are disciplined violent and elite soldiers, I highly doubt with an attitude like that you are part of them.

  • @gejwaites o right mate and u know about marines do you. Go bum ya self mate. We are disciplined and fucking monsters mate.

    42 VICTOR COMPANY

  • @DetectiveDaz Didn't I just say that the marines were disciplined elite soldiers? Fucking dumbass. Marines are dropping the ball if you passed selection let alone training pal.

You can talk all the bollox you want mate, but the more you talk over youtube the smaller and smaller you appear to everyone else.

I know the marines are elite soldiers, I said it in my comment obviously you cant read. But you! you come across as a small little wannabe.

    It's laughable.

    Adjust your attitude mate.

  • @gejwaites omg your fucking right....whats a ROYAL MARINES COMMANDO DOING TALKING TO A LITTLE FUCKING MONG SUCH AS YOUR SELF ON YOUTUBE. your correct....sorry

i wont reply back to your low asss comment. Clearly cant take a laugh. and for the record you fucking miss fired cum shot my cousin and best friend are paras and we both take piss out of each other.

One more thing, i couldnt give a fucking flying shit off a cows arse if you dont belive if im a royal marines commando. Who are you. 42 FTW

  • @DetectiveDaz LOL your not going to reply to my low comment yet leave me 2 replies? Your not the sharpest tool in the box are you fella?

    Your insults are laughable.

Your now acting as if you are above this dispute yet it was your arrogance and clearly an inability to read that started this?

    Your a funny guy.

  • @gejwaites ill tell you who you are...your the sort of person who fucking tried out for selection and fucking failed like a wank stain. Thats cool. So your more than likley fucking working in some CIVI STREET SHIT JOB serving customers pretending your life is amazing. Id fucking crush you like a worm. As i said i dont need to prove anything for you, Your not exctally a fucking proud happening are you. Nahh thats right your a failure. Good luck on life. 42

  • @DetectiveDaz Well for one, no I didn't try selection, and two calling every person who failed a wank stain is ridiculous if it was that easy to get in it would be nothing to brag about.

My personal life has nothing to do with you, whats wrong? lonely want a friend?

Or is your life so boring you pretend to be in the marines to make yourself feel better, and then regardless of the scale of hypocrisy speculate about my life?

Even if you are a marine your a fake one, the kinda that......(cont)..

  • @DetectiveDaz The kind that thinks because you got through training your a super hero, obviously in front of your superiors you stand straight and shut up, and then all that pent up aggression is released when you get home.

I reckon if you are in the marines you aint seen combat yet, most marines probably lose the arrogance once they've hit the front line and realised they aint invincible.

Marines are elite, but you individually are a low life.

  • @DetectiveDaz I guess someone failed to tell you that 42 commando Royal Marines doesn't have a Victor Company either that or you just need to do more research before you start bullshitting.

  • someone once told me...that a royal marines commando was killed in action, i replied....no mate, Commandos dont die, they go to the gates of hell smash seven shades of shit out of the devil and the paras then they regroup

  • good lads

  • Somone once told me about a para that was killed in action, I replied... no mate, paras dont die, they go to hell and regroup.

  • @99Shockwave99 The British Armed Forces merely go into a deep sleep to allow the enemy SOME chance at least.

  • The Qala-i-Janghi Fortress uprising sums up the SBS in one operation

  • @JackRMCdo Yea, but what does the SBS have to do with the Para's?

  • @BritPatriotUK ah shit wrote that comment on the wrong video, was meant for another

  • the paras are the best, cant wait to join!!!

  • bad ass ***** ;p

  • They are the best!

Maroon hats off to the work they done and to the great men lost!

  • who made this video, its absaloutly amazing

  • top video

  • @5119873

    agreed for the most part.

  • does anyone know the tattoo regulations for joining the parachute regiment?

  • @KarizmatikTheBoss

If you have Twat tattooed on your forehead you will be officer material LOL

    Just a joke oppo

    Steve Ex RM

  • @KarizmatikTheBoss

nothing racist or above the neck colar line i think

  • the music fits so well to this

  • even though the song fits perfectly i think you should re-post it but with the song Moby - Extreme ways instrumental, possible :)?

  • Comment removed

  • elite band of men, lethal against unarmed civilians! maroon beret and yellow stripe on the back, easy to identify, cowardly murderers.

  • @5119873 why are you going around flaming on all of the parachute regiment videos, The only reason why the government are even considering prosecution of those paras from northern ireland is because its much easier to do that then to pay compensation to those families in NI. fag

  • @5119873

The british army rarely kill unarmed civies, and it's only ever done if absoluetly necessary(words of MoD).The IRA, indiscriminately killed many more civilians in N. Ireland than the british army have lost in numbers between the falklands, iraq, ni and afghan combined. Don't dispute it, you know it's true. And before you do, think about the Omagh bomb, IRA killed the innocent and the RIRA continue ruining the peace process by killing the innocent. You are the cowards, not them.

  • @O1Chris02 I despise the IRA, according to the saville report the civilians in Derry posed no threat to the soldiers, British soldiers are not supposed to act like terrorists, the soldiers who killed people on that day are common murderers, the whole world knows the truth now, the RIRA won,t be allowed to ruin the peace process as they have no support in Northern Ireland, you are the coward for denying the truth.

  • @5119873

Any soldier from any unit the world over would point the finger at their own troops who let the high standards and honour down.

paras who murder innocent civilians have no honour and have let the regiment down. The para reg stands for the very best of standards IN EVERYTHING and that goes for integrity and honour. Bloody Sunday has no place in para history - it should be held up by other honourable paras as a disgrace on the reg. That is the way to regain honour from that stain.

  • @gx917rsv I agree, most soldiers in the army are honourable, an apology from the regiment would put this incident to bed for good, no other regiment acted like this during operation banner. Bloody sunday is making headlines worldwide at the moment and the regiment's reputation is being tarnished by events that happened 38 years ago, put an end to it once and for all!

  • whats the very last song called in this video ?

    thanks.

  • @miniears13 it's from the film gladiator, buy/download the soundtrack. It's bloody good.

  • @miniears13 Gladiator - its called Barbarian Horde

  • The British don't need to the paras anymore

  • @CH4Z145 they may not need to parachute into battle anymore, but they still need the regiment because of thier nature and thier ability, they'l never disband this unit, thier too ferocious.

  • @CH4Z145 Yes they do =]

  • @CH4Z145 obviously they do, the paras are the main infantry force fighting in afghanistan and iraq now without the paras the british army would be a joke

  • @CH4Z145

They are still the elite of the british army, (obviously excluding special forces). They specicalise in things regular Green Jackets don't and rarely have the chance to. Paras contribute with a combination of special insertion methods, industrial sabotage, clearance, etc. And the words of an SAS soldier said how they are the next best thing to the SAS in terms of CRW (counter revolutionary warfare) and sabotage.

  • this video is the shit. love it. im not joinin paras directly but im definatly going to be doing P coy when i become an royal engineer. yes, i'll be a crap hat still, but i'll be out the back of that plane with you!!

  • @soldierside365 wait let me get this straight airborne engineers are still considered by paras to be craphats? how does that work? you've already completed p company!!?

  • @britishfetishman101

apparently so, at least thats what i heard, Everything that isnt parachute regiment is given crap-hat status..

if any para reads this, correct me if im wrong..

  • Terrorists

  • officially murdering bastards.

  • @freederrybhoy they are infantry soldiers, it's what they do, their soul purpose for existing is to kill.

  • Start Royal Marines Basic soon, but i wanna get wings aswel

  • @Jamietran123

you dont have to do P-Coy then i think.. commandos can just walk on up to their CO and be like 'i want wings' and he'll be like 'ok, course starts in a month..'

at least thats what i heard from a fairly reliable source, of which i cannot remember..

  • fairly reliable source my fucking arse u wannabe cunt, thats NEVER happened,no one in any unit would go direct to there CO to as for a jumps course,u sad wanker

  • @davemufc9

your just as much of a cunt for taking everything literally... if you had a third of a brain you would obviously have realized that i wasnt serious. instead of getting overly aggressive at words on a screen, how about you tell me and everyone else misinformed by my ignorance just how it goes then, since i read other comments of yours and am guessing that you are RMC?

  • quite possibly the hardest most aggresive men alive.

  • @crouchtrac Aye but also good lads.

Count on them in any situation.

    "Crack on" for a reason.

  • @holtbp too right! a ferocious, dependable group of men I have the utmost respect for them and that's sometimes hard to say for a potential Royal Marine

  • @crouchtrac just the same as any other infantryman, its just that they do P-coy at the end, and im not just saying that coz im a guard lol

  • @Gdsman18 I'm a Royal Marine recruit mate, difficult for me to admit that but they are a fucking ferocious group of guys. Of course there is nothing quite as nails as us though, the Paras are just living in our shadow ;)

  • @crouchtrac Either way, both the Paras and RMs would piss all over most conventional infantry units and that's what matters.

  • @crouchtrac

    guarantee you couldn't to it.

  • im off to selection next week with these legends...It gunna be the best days of my life

  • Gladiator music

  • Paras, royal marine, sas, sbs... lets face it, anyone who starts are war with the british... are fucked.

  • @jammy764 love it ha

  • @JRKyorkshire666 did me 2 mate!!

  • 2:05 LOL I bet its looks much higher when your up there!

btw any PARAS here can help me?

I got run time of 9:50, think they will let me off and train me in Harrogate AFC for the 9:18 run time?

  • @Liam0125

You can transfer Unit's at AFC Harrogate, just prove yourself and ask to switch to the para's

  • @pimptastic666 Okay thanks mate but spoke to them now. I gotta get run time of 14:30 and when I come closer to P company I can get 9:18 run time when they train me a bit more ;]

    Thanks anyways mate.

  • @Liam0125 when are you going to AFC?

i wanna join the paras too, but my parents want me to go to AFC and then paras

i dont know if that possible

  • @imboor3d If you are joining the Para's between the ages of 16 - 17 you have to go to Harrogate anyways, you dont pick.

And yes I am this september (hopefully) I just sent off for my medicals and waiting for them to come back. What about you?

  • @Liam0125 well i was planning on joining at ~18 if i didnt wanna go to AFC

That's news to me anyway, i'm most likely going to Harrogate in January, as i'm not really fit enough for September.

    Best of luck

  • @imboor3d mate you only need to get a 12:30 run time for Harrogate. When your about to finish Harrogate to move onto phase 2 training, thats when you have to do 9:18 run time... they build you up while your in Harrogate.

If you can't make the Harrogate fitness requirments you'll never meet the Para's

  • @Liam0125 i can do 9:23 atm, but its my upper boddy strength i wanna work on

  • @imboor3d yer im going 2 harragot on 5th septmber this year and a JR para u wana be runnign about 3-5 miles a day and jsut doing basic sit ups and press ups u will be fine

  • @Liam0125 abit late any you will prob miss the sep intake

  • @MrAvfc94 worth a try

  • @trupnk you do the trainasium at PRAC anyway, way before you even get into phase 1

  • i cant wait to join the army. my dad was a para and i want to be one too but i dont know wether i'm good enough:S

  • @MissionVendetta do it for your dad, that way you'l have too much determination to fail.

  • @MissionVendetta u wont know unless you try mate...i say go for it, make ur dad proud.

  • Iv just been medicaly discharged from training on week 10 :/

Iv torn my cartiladge in my knee and nedd an operation. Now i will have to wait about 2 years before i can re-join.

  • top MEN.

  • wow the ending when i goes into black and white gave me goose bumps. music really fited it. good job out there lads. joinging the marines soon. cant wait to do it. mat be out there with u one day

  • @dudewidasheep110 These young lads want to join the Marines because they watched that documentary 'COMMANDO', that gave a false impression of the RMs. Before you decide on which unit you wish to join, also watch the 80s documentary, THE PARAS. If you wish to have a career in the SAS, then join the Paras. 85% of SAS are Airborne/Paras.

  • @Whatever81417 hmm cheers for the info. i was kind of thinking about joining the paras aactually. im almost 100% sure thats what im going to do now

  • @Whatever81417 ...i have pinged you posting on anything to do with the RM...and not just on youtube, get a grip, what are you a para groupie. you talk about RM chip on there shoulder yet you cant talk the paras up enough.

some info for ya fella of someonewho actualy knows what there talkin about...85 percent of the sas are not paras the sas has everyone in it...engineers, infantry, paras...oh and marines the lo...t its not made up of 85 percent paras at all the

  • @Whatever81417

the sbs who share land based ops with the sas i might add befor you start your navy bullshit are 90 percent RM with the remaining ten percent having completed the all arms commando course.

how exactly did that give a falso impression on the RM...done that training course have you ?

funny old thing i think ive just come back from ghanners where 3 para took over and well the term exactly the same best describes it...only they had there gash pongo attitude of course.

  • amazing video. respect to the paras, but i still think im gona try and go for the royal marines. well done out there boys keep it up!

  • im really stuck on wether to join the royal marines or the paras ... need help

  • @pot12340 marines are chums with the navy. Paras are chums with awesomery

  • iv just passed my selection for a junior para and this vid has bin helping me get thought my training :)

  • just passed p company last week, its not as bad as ppl make out, its just all in the head, if u want it ull push 4 it. the log race is the hardest event, a real mans test

  • The 10 miler's now done in 2hrs, when did that change, it use to be 1hr 45mins?

  • Great video :)

  • Honour, courage, & humility. Let it be an example to us all, this is how real men should be.

  • I'm with you.

  • and self discipline that's a huge huge huge part as well

  • cant wait to fuck off my asthma for this

  • nice vid

  • 1 word RESPECT ..........................

  • i passed PRAC back in december and still waitin for my start date, gettin well frustrated now, might even see ya there grainger

  • @orfordos Iv got my date now mate its on 7th March .. you got a date ?

  • still no date yet, been told there aint no more intakes til october now, well not happy

  • Well thats stupid if anything u should be on the same date as me as i passed in january .. only 4 of us passed PRAC and we all on the 7th march execpt 1 guy who still not got his date

  • to be honest, im lucky not to be goin in march cos my fitness has dropped massively since ive had to find work but i didnt really wanna have to wait up to 9 months though

  • why not?

  • not sure entirely, got to go to my afco for a briefing on thursday, i think its affecting most regiments though not just the paras

  • that will probably affect me then! im goin for the Royal Marines, hav massive respect for the Paras. hope that briefing had some good news for you!

  • i start 11th july now mate so ill be seein you there

  • what was prac like? i got my Barb test wednesday! whats asc like too? as int he tests they have u doin?

  • prac is hard but its mainly about endurance, dont walk on the run or steeplechase and you should be ok

  • Im joining 7 Para RHA mate. Ive done selection etc, just waiting for my starting date aswel :P Its anoying, but the wait is well worth getting the Maroon Beret!

  • what was prac like n how u do one tuns pullups pressups etc?

  • you dont do any pullups, you only get watched on situps and pushups you need 60 of each in 2 mins each

  • ah cool thanks! do you do the trnasium as well? one more question...the pressups...i went in the marines a few yrs back and left in week 14 and im used to doing pressups with my elbows tucked in...how must they be done at prac? elbows out?

  • i do marine style pushups as well mate but i dont think it really matters, i just do it out of habit now lol, you will do trainasium but only if its not rainin

  • i went to a para insight course like 2 weeks ago and you do have to be able to do chin ups, they said 10 minimum but 15 if your being serious. remember your fighting for the job with the recession and shit

  • chin ups are important but at selection the main thing is to get your mile n half under 9:19mins.

  • hi men, para reg myself 27 years old looking for a friend called duncan stevenson, last i heard he was in 1 para i miss him lots and cant find him,any ideas welcome

  • i may be able to help mucker..watch this page...

  • Excellent video.

I'm thinking of joining the paras as an officer but at the moment don't feel worthy of the prospect of leading men that already have such an outstanding reputation.
