I think you should replace the flashlight and the pliers with magazines for quick reload and put the tools on the leg pouch. The chest is much easier to reach than the legs.

i like the fact that American military have so much freedom with their loadouts... in Australia they are very strict about what we can and cant have with us when not deployed... we cant have modified or non issue items for carriage of dangerous items like ammo or grenades, and its stock armour and head gear too... and as for a gun store on base... that would rock, alas our gun laws... nice video... see you in the sand some time...

Thanks for sharing man. I want to get a nice molle vest that holds at least 8 m4 magazines (AR-15). Also want camo shirt and pants to match. But since I never served in the military I don't want to go with the standard BDU digital camo uniforms, since I know a lot of guys who did that would get on my shit for it. But I'm finding camo uniforms are hard to find at decent prices. If you have any suggestions on where to buy this gear cheap please let me know. Thanks

Quick question, I plan on joining the Airforce soon as an MP and I wanted to know if you can always carry your weapons around or is it just while on duty? I am a weapons freak and I own some already, but when I turn 21 can I purchase my own firearm and use it? Or does the Military require you to use their Firearms?

@LaineClarkJr you have to use theirs...and on base you cannot carry any personal firearm unless you are transporting it from the armory to off base, or if you live on base it has to go straight from your house to off base...you cant even technically get gas or stop anywhere....not everyone follows that, but that is rule...oh, and MP in the air force is security forces....i will warn you, it is not for everyone...its long days, and you get pooped on a lot! i love my job, but it can be stressfull

@firinglinechannel Plates and soft armour are not illegal for civilians to own in most states. Its simply an issue that producers of both hard and soft armour do not want to sell to civilians for liability issues (remember the north hollywood bank robbery...).

@MrAk47master it is a three point sling technicaly that i use. and now that i have my mags on my leg it doesnt get hung up too much, it used to and the gun got scratched to hell on my mags on my vest. not my gun though so no biggie. thats why there on my leg tho. ill try to get a pic of my gun sometime. i dont know if i am really allowed, but ill see what i can do. As in the basic ABU blouse/trousers/boots is what they supply, and then you are allowed to supply your own Tiger Strip pattern accessories.

That is one sweet vest, I didn't catch who made it though. I'm going to buy my first vest/plate carrier here shortly. I'm thinking about going with a vest made by Condor in the Multicam camouflage. I jumped ahead and ordered name tapes in Multicam from US Calvary's website. Will be doing a review of them as soon as they show up.

I think you can get the soft "plates" inserts or whatever they are, depending on your state, but can only get it up to the lowest level. Though I am not sure. probably only through second hand surplus or some junk. Please do not quote me on this haha
