@ 2:59 it sounds like it has 3 more cams and 16 more valves than it does. Nothing sounds like a Ferrari, but at $70k this is a good substitute.

I don't know about europe, but in US, price to modify Zo6 is as cheap as modifying 350Z.

about $10000 of work, you will have 600+hp 600+TQ N/A beast! Just saying from Nissan 350z owner..

For 10,000 you can probably do a bit better than 600/600 but it all depends on your contacts (people you know, getting hooked up, and someone who is willing to help you with the mechanical work at very little cost) :)

I watched Top Gear. And Jeremy is WRONG. I drive a Z06 and it is damn comfortable on everyday roads. I dont hear the tire noise Jeremy speaks of so I dont know what he is talking about. Oh, and the Z06 does kill a Ferrari on the track (except the enzo).

Ya TG is very biased against american cars for the most part. Check out 5th gears review they may be less entertaining but they are far more professional and not biased.

Yes it costs less then ferarri but they are absolutely not the same.

A good point was made, this car is for the track and not suitable for the everyday ride, i'm talking about a comfort, i did sit in it, its quite small inside, but watch the Top Gear.

I checked out the prices (as i mentioned before) and in one year the price falls 20,000-30,000 , considering you'll pay 100,000 for a nice package.

Garbage - it's perfectly useable every day, it's ride is hard but that's true of any performance car and i'll give you another fact, I bought my previous Vette (yellow c5) for £22k and sold it 4 years later for £24k! so don't tell me about depreciation. It depends entirely on your market.

If you get a Ferarri, not only is the initial cost ridiculous but also the maintenance and if anything breaks, good luck.

Also any upgrades to a Ferarri are super expensive and good luck even attempting it yourself.

And if you care so much about comfort, why would you even be looking at a coupe? Go try a Benz, Audi, Lexus, or BMW sedan.

And price fall on all cars, especially within the first year. And if price is such an issue for you, I can tell you will never own a ferarri.

@Timothayyy Yes, affording a Ferrari is one thing, affording to take a ferrari to the track is a whole different ball game. Everything on a Ferrari, brake pads, oil change, tune up, is expensive and overpriced. If your clutch goes out on a Ferrari prepare to take out a second mortgage to replace it, and god forbid you have transmission or engine problems.

Know why? We in Canada can buy it anywhere, it's price drops right after 1 year by at least 30,000USD , doesn't that tell you something.

The car "looks good" is correct. But it also beats the crap out of many higher priced Euro cars on many tracks for much less the price. Saying the price drops $30K in one year is nonsense. Prove it. You can't. I know. I've been looking for 1-2 year old Z06's.

Yes i did exaggerate with 30K, but i did check it out on our local (provice wide) auto trader site.

So the MSRP cost is $91,685 CAD, not sure if you can actually buy for that price or there are other prices.

But i checked out the used prices:

2007 Z06 - 14,000km - costs 72,000CAD

2007 Z06 - 6,0000km -$70,995CAD - said it cost them $101,845CAD

Its at least 20,000 LOSS or more

What meant was that it's up for sale all over the place, just like hundai , its not exclusive and has no class.

Did you ever ride a mercedes (even a c300) and then go ride the corvette, its plastic interior is a joke.

If you check out autotrader site for used cars, you'll see the price drop i meant.

I think Mercedes are over engineered, unreliable junk. BMW and Porsche are where its at for German. By the way, the Ferrari/Maserati dealer here in Vancouver BC is in the middle of what I would describe as "crack/crack-whoreville," not anywhere near the $15 million houses in West Van or the $10 million condo's on the West Side. I currently drive a BMW 530i (with a manual) and I think the ZO6 is awesome. It might have the coolest engine of any car. Relax

I believe its a PH.D in bullshitting, but anyways I agree, the first 2005 Z06 models has an MSRP on the chevy web-site for about 65,000 + tax + title + dealer fee+ (all that other B.S)= about 68,000, but some dealers got greedy and started marking them up about 5,000-7,500 above their normal allowed retail by GM. All that said, a 2005 Z06 with low miles will still set you back a good 55,000 at the moment. None of us will probably ever be able to afford an Enzo, so lets be proud of the corvette

before you start to try and sound smart, there wasn't a 2005 C6 Z06. Chevy was still working on the LS7. the C6 Z06 came out in 2006

Well I meant late 2005 = 2006, thats another big issue with car makers, they get so worked up on wanting to release the new model year that they dont give the previous model year the 365 days it deserves or at least close to that day.

What the fuk look at the acceleration of the car its that km/h or m/ph?If its km/h why it goes just to 210 k/mh?That car goes beiond 300 k/ph,its make no sense.And if its m/ph ITS FAKE.According to my clock that car goes from 0 to 120 m/ph in just 6 seconds,the bugatty veyron does this in 7 seconds and the corvette is slower than a bugatti.

What the hell is wrong here?

What the hell are you talking about?Ok Ok sorry the bugatty veyron does it in 7,9 seconds,sorry.I just say if its m/ph its fake,a z06 would probably never reach 120m/ph in just 6 seconds,more probably in 13 seconds or so.
