Don't be fooled into thinking that Mccain will not raise taxes too. Mccain will too, but on the backs of those of us making much less than $250,000 per year. All Obama is saying is how he will pay for the things we need like health care. He's being realistic as the money has to come from somewhere. Also how the hell are we going to pay for the bailout package? We have to pay taxes because the U.S. has bills. Bills run up by the Bush Administration's out of control spending.

Zogby was the only one who got the last election right and they are showing only a 2.7% difference between Obama and McCain now, within the margin of error of 2.9%. Zogby says Obama's numbers are dropping and McCain's are growing, probably since Obama let the cat out of the bag about "spreading the wealth around" to Joe the Plumber. More independents, especially male independents, are moving McCain's way. So this is not locked up, Mz. Marxist Pelosi. We Americans get to decide this election.

He's an admited socialist. During his senate run, a public radio interviewer posited that his views were socialistic. O basically said that shouldn't surprise, as he's a socialist.

I remember it clearly, if not word for word. I was impressed by O's honesty. I also knew that the transcript would be buried. Not knowing much about O then, I didn't think much of it. If I knew he'd be this successful I'd have an effort to get the transcript. He sure not so candid today.
