I found out about this band, totally by mistake. I was also in a rock band at the time, and I had an Olde English Sheepdog, who's name was Willy. I thought that the song, "Little Willy", was cute, and I bought the 45 RPM Record, as a tribute, for my Dog, "Willy", who I love so much. When I played the B Side to the Record, and heard, "Man From Mecca", I became an instant fan to the band, "Sweet". Their singing, and musicianship, was incredible, and I am still their biggest fan today, Scott!!!

Sweet is one of the greatest rock bands of all time. To me, they are the prototypical rock band. The mold was broken when these guys were done making music as a group. Nobody will EVER sound like them. Nothing will ever be like Sweet. So we can just love what we have from them, and someday, I hope they get the credit that they were due in their time.
