even though Jack doesn't play any brand name pedals, he creates all of his including his whammy, but digitech took his basic idea.

I don't think I understand.. Jack did not build a whammy pedal, and he doesn't build his own pedals, he just paints over them so that no one knows what gear he uses(also he paints them cause he likes the look).

Maybe he has built pedals, but he uses a big muff pi, Digitech whammy, some analogman pedal, a EHX POG and something else.
