i found this pretty easy to tame all i did is just attack him and disengaged just b4 i hit the ground (no fall damage ) and deterrence + ice trap and i got it !

so i got him with the tree method... then around 12 hours later he respawned and i tried to get it on my friend's hunter, but my dumbass for got to deterrence and died, then a dwarf hunter came and just tamed him on the ground without dying... pissed me off

Easy way, get Noggenfogger elixir, find ban'thalos, drink noggenfogger till u get slow fall, mount up/fly up and attack banthalos to get him down, place a frost/freezing trap(never remember the name of the correct one), tame, win. Finding the spot to stand on the tree just takes way to long :D

@fabicool1996 yes it's a spirit beast thus u need the last talent point in the bm tree to be able to tame this pet and use him.

Only true problem is getting in that tree. I always use my eng. cloak enchant, though. Major gratz on him. I abandoned mine, speaking I never bonded with him.

@Kiokya what shot did u use to pull him with? Hopefully it wasn't serpent sting cause that's just gonna keep breaking the trap. just auto shot him or arcane shot will pull him easily.

I did it far easier, a druid found it for me and for 200 gold he helped me tame, he just pulled it using his fly form to the ground, then hiberate(the leeping stun) I threw a trap and it was done.

Still waiting for the spawn, but I've positioned myself properly. The easiest way I found to get into the tree was to zoom all the way into yourself and look through yourself. Center on the tree and see if you can move. If you can, shift around a bit, then try to go down again. When you can't, you should be on the little tiny standing spot and good to go!

Thanks man, this really helped my ass a lot. It was kinda funny, the one night I decided I needed a better pvp spec and decided to go back to BM and tame a spirit beast for healing purposes, I just happen to find him on my first try. Ugh i still remember all the hours i spent in trying to find loque nahak, but never found em. This guy I just went to Hyjal and sure as shit there he was. Havent seen any respawns of him ever since i tamed it Love this guy. His healing ability is somewhat useful.

@DragonSpirit785 your quite welcome. i've helped quite a lot of people on my server with this tame. Seen a lot of people die just from falling which i've tried taming him that way. falling and then disengaging at the last second so u don't fall damage which it works, however he'll still nuke you til he hits the trap. this method is much safer and easier to pull off. Also it's recommend to use small mounts when trying to get up on that tree lol >.<
