Lily really didn't like James in the memory Harry saw in the Pensieve, but Lily WOULDN'T HAVE gone out with James unless he definately had changed; unless she liked him. That is clear from her character. Also, she WOULD NOT marry him if she didn't love him. SHE HAD A KID WITH HIM. Don't judge someone from what they used to be.

@bhb14bonanza Because there's nothing that sets them apart. They're loyal, but so's Gryffindor, they're hardworking but so are the Ravenclaws, and everyone's friendly besides Slytherin. They're the kids who turned 11 but didn't have anything setting them apart except perhaps looks. I, personally, don't like them because I feel they'd let people walk all over them too easily- they're /too/ nice and can be easily manipulated. But I'm a Slytherin- it's just my opinion.

@Inominifia I never said that I hated Hufflepuffs- you asked why people made fun of them and I explained it. I'm a very neutral person- the Hufflepuffs I know allow everyone to walk all over them. I'm a prideful Slytherin and to watch people I know submit to those lesser than them annoys me. It's the way I am. Once again I'll point out my house and say it's normal for Slytherins to not enjoy the company of other houses; honestly it's plain as day in the books, never said anything about me.

That's the logic, at least. they're the extras- cannonfodder because they're never really trying.
