@RatedAK0 i heard that too.but turns out its wrong. the blood just becomes a darker red. i suspect the myth came about because skin colour goes redder when oxygenated blood passes through it and blue when deoxygenated blood goes through it or its generally starved of oxygen (no blood passing though it) and veins are blue and carry deoxygenated blood, so a logical leap, but an innaccurate one.

why blue i have no idea.

i do remember reading something like that, that he had said in an interview. that's why i think haemoglobin means in this song, " it doesn't what you are on the outside....it's that all our blood is red and that's what keeps us healthy (in our actions toward each other). i don't know....made sense to me.
