@Spkslayer666, no. you cannot jailbreak a sciphone. it doesn't have the same processor or the same firmware that the iphone has. so i suggest just getting an iphone because the touch screens on this phone really don't work too well after the first month and the connection is nowhere near the capabilities of the real iphone.

I have used SciphoneI68+ for half a year. I didn't like it, because the music was too silent with earphone, the software was slow and there were only stupid chinese games installed on it, not to mention that sometimes I had problems with touchscreen (sometimes I touched where I didn't want to). For Christmas I got an Alcatel OT-800 and I like it much better (qwerty keyboard, better musical software and better games).

Be careful of purchasing this, it uses a 26 Mhz processor.

My calculator uses a faster processor than that.

Iphone uses an ARM-cortex 833 Mhz processor.

100$ for this is a rip off, it should be sold for 10$ because it isn't even 1/10th what an iphone is.

Yeah the first ones lagged and hung up and wouldn't flip but they fixed all of those kinks. I already lost the phone but the one I had worked really well. You could hardly tell the difference besides the brightness of the screen was slightly off.

I agree with fundamentallyawesome, this phone (I have used it myself, my friend bought it and I had a very VERY deep look at it) is very laggy and unresponsive when you touch it, it feels cheap, some "apps" dont work, and this is for $100?? These phones are so laggy... I wouldn't pay $10 for them. You can't use apps and setting up the internet is a major hassle. Oh yeah, don't bother calling for support if you have problems with them. The company that makes them is Chinese, and their support is worse than Sprint's. Save up the extra $100 dollars and get the iPhone 3G or something else legitimate... Don't support these Chinese con artists. You are encouraging their thievery by buying their garbage phones.

I was also thinking of buying the sciphone untill i watched 4 online demos and even the sales person was having trouble with the darn thing.Main problem was trying to slide the photos & menu.Also when pressing the icons he had to press them around 3-4 times before it would work.And this is coming from the sciphone sales rep.Think he walked off stage with 1 big headache.Not the way to sell your produce.Turned me off buying the useless junk.

I have this phone. It has been a very good phone for the money. It is a little difficult to set up SMS, MMS, and mobile web. Once I figured everything out I am more than happy with this phone. A big problem though is you cannot just take it in to the wireless store to as for help.
