Ear & Sinus Problems : How Do Nasal Sprays Work?

I have the worst cold, i could not breathe at all. My nose and whole head was clogged. I took 2 sprays of afrin in each nostril before bed and it completly cleared me up, i could breathe with ease and made my cold feel like it went away it lasted over 24+ hours and saved me from lying awake all night. Thanks for the info tho, i wasnt positive about it being addicting to your body.

i did a nasal irigation today and now my whole head and ears are stuffy, what's up with that?

what are your thoughts on "Sinus buster" - the hot pepper (capsaicin) spray.

I've had a sinus infection for a couple weeks now - started right after my last cold (as usual). It seems to be helping to flush more crap out of my nose, so I know it helps in that respect. My question is, will this be harmful long term?
