@hdrp33 I saw her live recently, and she still sounds outstanding. Of course 20 years of constantly belting takes a toll on a voice, and a woman's body changes drastically between ages 20 and 40.
the old MC was no doubt state of the art !!! but i happen to love her now just as much !!! no matter how her voice change, the soul, the passion, the whistles are still there and burning just as fiercely, if not stronger !!!

Man, her singing was so fluid back in the day. Her melisma actually sounds cool. She's so choppy now, breaking up phrases and throwing in hiccup like "oh oh oh" lines. I wonder if she'll ever get this back.
Excuse mariah will forever be a bad ass singer. She can still and she's still the top selling singer of all time; Does she need to put some clothes on yes...but yeah she can still sing. I think it's a combination of being so tired and busy all the time and also she doesn't like to sing like that anymore.. and also a bit of bad technique stretching her chest voice all the way up strains the throat lots.. her musical talent is still there though which lets her sing so amazing .. not just with high notes but the embellishments as well
