I don't know anyone else who could sing this song and do it justice like Tom can. Its a vocal challenge without a doubt. Its one of my favorites if not The Favorite of TJ songs. The Matadore became a movie with Pierce Brosnan. There was a Broadway play also. Tom is the consumate performer~

true story. when i was in high school me and my football player buddies used to go see tom and southside jonny at the westchester premer theatre. 3 years ago same group went to see him in nyc and i was REALLY thinking he would do this song. i already heard all his other stuff so i was pissed he didnt do it. after he finished i followed him out to his limo and asking him betwn body guards how come he did not sing this song! I then realized aftter wathching this what hard work it is. Sorry Tom!

Below is a response I received from somone else. "No such album exists. There are only three songs recorded from the musical. Check out wikipedia search under Matador Musical to see the existing discography". I did look it up on Wiki & it's a shame because I think Tom would have been a wonderful lead man in that production & because it was a serious work not a comedy. Thanks for the response!
