Awesome Shay! I'm a month in on Raw food diet and have lost 18lbs of fat. Also, I started out with a week long juice fast- which I would reccomend for a kick start. Now on the raw diet I still have 2 fresh juices a day- drink your greens, lose weight, feel amazing!!!

Last week I went down to the new 24 hr gym that opened in town and laid down $200 for a membership for a few months. I feel like knowing I paid so much keeps me going so I don't waste the money lol

I've been trying to speedwalk on the tredmill on the highest incline for 30 mins but there are some nights where I know I'll be like ugh I dont want to do it. On those days I'll do something simple, because it's better than sitting on my butt! :)
Every friday we have PT in JROTC at school, we do 32 pushups 32 situps and run 2 miles. But im still not losing any weight. Does anyone have any tips for me?
acually chempanzies do eat meat if they can take it from a nother pretetar or just grab the animal but they dont hunt. oh ya and good job with the diet!!!
@montrealfan5 At 13 and skinny you don't need to be dieting, things Shay mentioned like, doing a lil exercise for 20 minutes a day, is better than not doing anything. And of course eating healthy, raw things if you can eat em, but no need to just eat that.
you drink water to retain less water (yeah i kno its weird) and u drink gatorade to have more energy. gaterade is now the number 1 energy drink, and the most heathy energy drink but it still has a lot of sugar

Actually, some vegetables need cooking so that your body can get to the nutrients in it since they have such a tough 'coating' around them. Stuff like brocolli and carrots should be cooked. =)
I had track for 2 months in April and May, I went on a 80 mile hiking trip in June, and then early July to last weekend I carried bass drum 5 (out of 7 sizes) in marching band. I've been in pretty good shape for a while now. :D

I play alot of modern warfare and now the 2nd one witch is awesome, anyway I started doing pushups after each round 5 for every place im not in the top 3, so if im fourth i do five , if im sixth ten and so on, if im in the top three I do ten for each place im not in first. Ive way more pushups in the last week then i've done in years and im getting better at the game too :)

Im behind you 1000000000%!!!!! Im really young and I wiegh 142 lbs which happens to be VERY BAD. Well atleast I used to =D! I swear I tryed EVERY SINGLE kind of diet and exersise. I found that eating home meals everyday and excrsising at least 60 mins everyday I lost 4 lbs in 1 week which is good for not doing barely anything! Hope that helps you in anyway!
While I was watching this video, I had a half of a turkey and pickle sandwich with mayonnaise and after that, I did 10 push and sit ups! Now I just have to walk around the block!

you burn calories while you sleep so it would help if you do sleep more. if you want to sleep try making cinnamin tea. USE CINNAMIN STICKS NOT GROUND CINNAMIN. Just boil water and put it in a mug then put the cinnamin stick in the water and let it sit there. When it turns aubernish in color then surve. dont add sugar, replace with honey. so yah

If you are going to cut meat from your diet, then you need to combine your vegetable protein. Animal protein is very complete in its Amino Acid where as vegetable protein, even though it may contain significant protein levels, will be much less complete. To get around this combine your vegetable protein sources throughout the day and you will get complete proteins. Herbivores like gorillas that are strong have herbivore digestive systems, so they break down bacteria for protein that we cant.

One good way is to add exercising moves to your daily life. I drink a lot of coke so I started doing 20 sit ups every time i go to fridge and take coke and 20 push ups when i take a piss :D And that has stuck with me. Now it's a routine and it doesn't feel like an exercise.

this is so motivational! im not overweight, but i keep remembering this last summer where i was in the BEST SHAPE EVER. i could run the mile in six minutes flat and drop and do 50 pushups without thinking. i miss those days. im not expecting to get back to that before next swim season, but i want to not have the poosh on my belly thats been forming :)
your brain needs animal protein.. Trust me I go to a nutritionist.. You need a balanced diet.. You will get sugar cravings on a low protein diet.. And the animal parrell is bs. We are omnivores and require animal protein.. We aren't designed like chimpanzes or gorellas.. if you want to get the best results.. Lean protein, green veggies and good fats.. You apparently aren't into fitness. If you were you would know more.. To build muscle you need protein too
The same kinds of protean that are found in animal meat can also be found in other foods, and or protean shakes/pills. You don't need to eat meat to be fit, or healthy. You need protean, but it does not have to come from meat.

Dude be adventurous. Go to your supermarket or grocery store or whatever and get as many new fruits and vegetables as you can. I love experimenting with foriegn ingredients :)

the only problem with eating lots of spinach is that it stops the body from absorbing iron as much. According to some nutritionist my friend went to be cause she ate too much red meat and thought it could be an awesome replacement. you gotta eat lots of brocolli and drink lots of tomato juice to combat it!

Im behind you 1000000000%!!!!! Im really young and I wiegh 142 lbs which happens to be VERY BAD. Well atleast I used to =D! I swear I tryed EVERY SINGLE kind of diet and exersise. I found that eating home meals everyday and excrsising at least 60 mins everyday I lost 4 lbs in 1 week which is good for not doing barely anything! Hope that helps you in anyway!

While I was watching this video, I had a half of a turkey and pickle sandwich with mayonnaise and after that, I did 10 push and sit ups! Now I just have to walk around the block!

you burn calories while you sleep so it would help if you do sleep more. if you want to sleep try making cinnamin tea. USE CINNAMIN STICKS NOT GROUND CINNAMIN. Just boil water and put it in a mug then put the cinnamin stick in the water and let it sit there. When it turns aubernish in color then surve. dont add sugar, replace with honey. so yah

Shay, I never knew that you really felt that self concious because on your Shaytards channel you always kinda make it a joke. It really opened up my eyes to how you felt and I feel the exact same way. Im also on a diet but not to the extreme you are doing it. If you are going to cut meat from your diet, then you need to combine your vegetable protein. Animal protein is very complete in its Amino Acid where as vegetable protein, even though it may contain significant protein levels, will be much less complete. To get around this combine your vegetable protein sources throughout the day and you will get complete proteins. Herbivores like gorillas that are strong have herbivore digestive systems, so they break down bacteria for protein that we cant.

One good way is to add exercising moves to your daily life. I drink a lot of coke so I started doing 20 sit ups every time i go to fridge and take coke and 20 push ups when i take a piss :D And that has stuck with me. Now it's a routine and it doesn't feel like an exercise.

I don't really want to go on a full raw diet... So what would you recommend for a carnivore? i love my meat, but i also love my fruit and veges.
So what kind of diet would you recommend? and also.. is it hard to quit coke? i drink coke zero, not 2 litres, but about 1.5 litres in a day, and i know thats no good
So any ideas on quitting coke aswell?

this is so motivational! im not overweight, but i keep remembering this last summer where i was in the BEST SHAPE EVER. i could run the mile in six minutes flat and drop and do 50 pushups without thinking. i miss those days. im not expecting to get back to that before next swim season, but i want to not have the poosh on my belly thats been forming :)

your brain needs animal protein.. Trust me I go to a nutritionist.. You need a balanced diet.. You will get sugar cravings on a low protein diet.. And the animal parrell is bs. We are omnivores and require animal protein.. We aren't designed like chimpanzes or gorellas.. if you want to get the best results.. Lean protein, green veggies and good fats.. You apparently aren't into fitness. If you were you would know more.. To build muscle you need protein too

The same kinds of protean that are found in animal meat can also be found in other foods, and or protean shakes/pills. You don't need to eat meat to be fit, or healthy. You need protean, but it does not have to come from meat.

Dude be adventurous. Go to your supermarket or grocery store or whatever and get as many new fruits and vegetables as you can. I love experimenting with foriegn ingredients :)

I like the quote that you said about the pain of staying the same being greater than the pain of change and the "its better than what you were doing" Every little change helps. the only problem with eating lots of spinach is that it stops the body from absorbing iron as much. According to some nutritionist my friend went to be cause she ate too much red meat and thought it could be an awesome replacement. you gotta eat lots of brocolli and drink lots of tomato juice to combat it!
