    Thank you!

    alexej1991

  • by the way man... have you ever thought about taking parkening's master class?

  • what kind of guitar is that?

  • it's a spanish classic guitar

  • Gorgeous.... I'm working on that right now, although I unfortunately don't have a classical guitar.

    Well Done

  • beautiful

  • nice :) check out my version

  • good stuff

  • why only 20 days?is he brilliant?there are guys here that have played it during 10 years

  • bravo

  • amazing!

  • Nice i like it but try whit more expression, and not like a robot

  • beautiful mate..

  • bien tocada pero falta fuerza en las notas

  • Amazing... Absolutely brilliantly played! I have been trying to learn the entire thing for months, and I'm still struggling with the stupid tremolo bits! My fingers just won't move like that :P

  • Nice play, needs a better camera...

Do you have the transctiption/tab or something please?

I looked up on the link you posted but it is not there anymore...

    Thanks

  • Second part is lacking completely****

  • As is your ability to type****

  • It's good for the beginning. Watch for the balance of the right hand and the ritm. Congratulations

  • i'm no expert but it sounds pretty good. u make it look easy, i have yet to master this piece.

  • man it really deserves a better mic. the hiss is pretty annoying. I'm fukn impressed tho. this is just my opinion, but i think ppl try to play this piece too fast, whats most important is that it is clear, and fluid. whether or not its at light speeds is of secondary importance.

  • ma legenda prava

  • es Asturias no asturia por lo demas muy bien todo..

  • not bad, just watch your right hand doesnt 'bounce' when you are playing, the plucking motion should come more from the large knuckle joints of your hand, like when you make a loose fist. Also you seem to have forgotten your vibrato. All in all not bad though, I've seen far far worse performances of this piece.

  • thanks, but as I said before-I recorded it after just 20 days of playing it. I just wanted to show what I can make in 20 days =). Now I play it much better.

  • Bravo !!! Pas facile du tout ! Félicitations ! :-)

  • Still very good, Im almost there, few more months and I'll have it posted.

  • perfect ;)

  • Ernestjm2 .I use notes. It is the best way to learn pieces. IMHO

  • hey did you use tabs or standard notation to play this piece? because i've been trying to memorize it in standard notation and it's giving me a headache.

  • Good work! Very good indeed!

  • FIRE!!!!! I WANT MORE FIRE!!!! When this masterpiece is played correctly, it makes you burn on the inside. I used to play it, but I played it slower than this, and it still caused irregular heartbeats in my listeners. Im gonna review my notes and prepare my fingers, I wanna play this thing again.

  • good!

  • el justo equilibrio muy bien le podrias a ver dado un poco mas de caña al final

  • if you want to play this and arent used to playing classical guitar u should not start with that piece, otherwise u will get frustated.First the technique then the fun

  • très beau ! merci pour cette vidéo !

    continue....

  • bon travail man mais ses vraiment lent pratique avec un métronome pour prendre de la vitesse.

(good work man but it's very slow)

  • Great job, man! I'm working on this right now. I realized your transcription is kind of different. I'll take a look at it.

  • sounds really good, i don't know much about guitar but i enjoy classical music. i like what you did with it.

  • one of my favs on classical guitar, thanks for posting, I'm going to go check the mytempdir.com link.

  • Muy bien tocada. Muy bonita!!!!!! Bravo!!!!!!

  • dude u play that is awesome!, I have been playing that piece for like a year or so but I've never had time to practice daily so I'm not as good, but seeing you play it has just made me want to play it this good. thanks man

  • Awesome. Where did you say you got your transcription from? I"m learning this one myself right now and need to find a better one.

  • ihmal87 ,thanks ! http://www.mytempdir.com/754698

Here-you can take a look on that transcription, which I have played. IMHO-it is one of the best ;)....Reply,if you find it useful !

  • sorry I was going to reply when I got around to finishing learning it :) but it looks like it will take me longer than I thought, but I'll let you know if I'm ever successful, or as close as you've got it at this point

  • good men!

  • Great job man, really. I would play some things differently. Such as when you take a barre and you downstroke with the thumb...I would make it sound less powerfull (loud) but a little more like a rasgeuado. But I think those parts didn't sound as good 'cause of the "loudness" that the camera couldn't deal with? correct? :-) great job again.

  • muy bonito y gratificante

  • Well done staw, was that take 1? Im learning this piece & am struggling after about the first 40 seconds, have you any tips for playing 3 stings that fast?

  • gisago ,how long have you played guitar ?

  • Hi Staw, I've been teaching myself for years on and off. Asturias is my first venture into classical. Its a great piece on the guitar. I said if I can learn to play this before I die, I will die happy.

  • 2gisago. Ok :D ! I think you will die happy-because it is only seems to be a difficult piece. After a while it will be more easy ! The only think you can do-is to use METRONOME ! As you probably spoted-this piece Consists of several parts-you should work on each part separately ! And by the way-there are alot of transcriptions of this piece. Which one do U use ?

  • Staw, will try the metronome. Thanks 4 that.Im using the transcription by Dragoslav Nikolic and the tab of Goran Stefanovic from Ultimate Guitar.com.

My thumb follows the bass nicely but its the other 4 fingers thats the main problem,I tend to just use the index and middle. They are fine double hitting on one string but getting them to do two in the right sequence is driving me mad.

  • Not too bad, one of my fav songs to play as well... for reference its Layenda (Asturias) by Issac Albeniz

  • that's very impressive! great job!!

  • Good job men. Absolutely amazing. Keep up the good work. How long did it take you to learn to play it that good?

  • I played about 5 years, but this "Legenda" I learned in 20 days.....What do you think about it?
