I've never come to an understanding with someone else on the topic of meth...because more than half of the time that other person doesn't even know shit about meth. They have no experience and are only spoon-fed by what they were educated by. Yes, meth is bad. Very bad.

Alcohol and Marijauna are actually the most common gateway drugs. Cigarettes give you a 25 percent better chance of relapsing but are a non-narcotic drug, therefore they can not be a "gateway" drug. Alcohol is the most damaging drug anyone can do. Cigarettes are not. If you don't want to believe me don't I just got out of rehab for the fourth time.

Excellent comment and totally agree. The "gateway" drugs are the ones we can legally buy over the counter - nicotine and alcohol. Alcohol does exponentially more social damage than say marijuana or ecstasy. It's the crime the comes with prohibiton that helps fuel the "drugs are evil" BS.

Your point about alcohol simply refutes your claim. Alcohol is legal yet you admit to being abused/assaulted by people on it but never by someone on drugs which are illegal such as pot or ecstacy. So obviously simply making something legal and easily available doesn't remove these problems.
