They had REAL guns, REAL conflict, and REAL Character Development. I like "Rise of Cobra" and I'm looking forward to "Retaliation", but I would rather see some aspects of Hama's comics incorporated into these movies.

His old voice was annoying plus this has a different cobra commander he was in an explosion his voice is like a burn victims since he was in an explosion.I mean honestly you didn't watch the film your complainging when your not even paying attetion.
In the toons cobra wasn't a threat and was annoying in the movie they didn't give him a deep voice they gave him a burn victim's voice his vocal corwds still haven't healed probally.Honestly he was blown up if you actually saw the movie you would know it changed the story up so you just prooved you didn't.

The biggest surprise of the summer. I really expected this to be total shit. I pretty much went to eat popcorn, but ended up loving this movie. Lots of well choreographed action, no stupid racial stereotypes (which was nice for an action flick), some smoking hot women, and a pretty solid story.

i said IMO(In My Opinion).
I mean, this movie, had great action, great special effects, they had good character development for a summer blockbuster, hell even a pretty decent story. The acting was fine much better than shia or meagan in TF2. there were some cheezy stuff, but it never got in the way of the movie. I enjoyed watching te cartoons back in the day, and they did a pretty good job with this movie, and i was more happy with it than TF2. All that movie has was just Action throughout.

I watched it yesterday and it was better than what I expected. I'm a GI JOE fan and figure collector. As soon as I left the theatre I went straight to Target and got me about 28 figures. That's how good the movie was. Can't wait for the second part. YO JOE!!!!

I thought it was pretty good, the fx were a little cheesy, but it was good. I was expecting a PSA at the end and didn't get one... oh well. Cobra Commander was badass though.

Actually nowadays violence is no big deal and ive even met kids as young as seven being able to describe and recognise CGI.

The biggest surprise of the summer. I really expected this to be total shit. I pretty much went to eat popcorn, but ended up loving this movie. Lots of well choreographed action, no stupid racial stereotypes (which was nice for an action flick), some smoking hot women, and a pretty solid story.

Just watched the movie last night
Compared 2 Transformers,it was a clean fun 4 the family
Some lines r cheesy but at least there's no profanities n racial slurs
There's actually a plot n the action is well choreographed unlike the desert battle scene at the end of Transformers 2
Cobra fans will rejoice at the portrayal of Baroness,Storm Shadow,Zartan n the Cobra Vipers but may be disappointed wit Destro n Cobra Commander
