  • 10 people had a jaunty little bonnet popped on their purview and rammed up their shitter with a lubricated horse cock :)

  • @TheSheiban DISLIKE JOKES AREN'T FUNNY!!!

  • @ihatefurrys i found it quite funny lol

  • Malcolm is kind of a dick

  • Malcolm Tucker cracks me up, but his face is kinda creepy. He's pure evil

  • @vironfletcher @vironfletcher hmm I'm not sure. Not someone you invite to your dinner party by any means. But I think he says it best himself in this clip - "don't apologise for me, apologise for yourself!". I think of him as like a kinda tool of fate, smiting the weak, incompetent and the plain shit.

  • You will go far, now fuck off!

  • Who the fuck would dislike this??

  • The best bit is when he ends the phone call with "fuckity-bye"

  • Malcolm - Judy's lubricated horse cock aside for a moment...

  • HEY Fetus boy. Lesson 1 I tell you to fuck off what do you do?

  • Naw nane of yees can fucking swear unless ye are payoor Scottish ya bunch of YouTube pricks ;]

  • i liked the movie, but i thought it was definitely a cut below the show... the thick of it, WOW, what a series, probably the greatest "sit com" ever

  • Hey....foetus boy.

  • great movie!!! I'm looking for the scene where the guy tells his girlfriend that he cheated on her with that girl "to somehow stop this horrible war" that was priceless. Does anyone know if there's a clip of that scene?

  • oh Malcom makes me laugh :D

  • She's married? Poor bastard. pmsl

  • I love how he's exactly the same in skins xD

  • Not the time love i'm busy fuck off lol!!!!!!!!!!!

  • eff off!

  • Let them eat cock! lol

  • Walk the fucking line!

  • 9 people will not go far in life... "now fuck off!"

  • I am analysing this scene for my English Language A level. It's particularly hard analysing Olly's character based on 3 words. It's really, how would you say, difficult difficult lemon difficult.

  • Hey, fetus boy!

  • Not the time love!.

  • Peter Capaldi = Win

  • I almost laughed. Not sayin the movie isn't funny... Just sayin

  • "Allow me to pop a jaunty little bonnet on your purview and ram it up your shitter with a lubricated horse cock!"

You just cant get in more detail that that

  • @Meeriio

What stuns me is that that actor previously played a young, awkward love-struck Scot in "Local Hero". I had to look it up to make sure it was true.

  • @Meeriio

The fact that the meek, innocent-faced Scot from "Local Hero" grew up to play this foul-mouthed, hate-filled figure in politics is astonishing in itself.

  • @Meeriio how in the fuck did you understand what he said?? XD rofl

  • @blackball821 I actually don't know ahaha.

  • @Meeriio now i know what he said

  • She's married? Poor bastard

  • telling people to fuck off is such a luxury...

  • Walk the fucking line!

  • tower hamlets loooool

  • A fantastic dark comedy and satire... A must watch... 5/5 is the rating.

  • Epic... just epic...

  • funny funny lemon funny.

  • made me laugh so fucking much

  • This was the first movie in a long time that made me laugh A LOT!

  • "You've been disinvited..." LOL LOL

  • The 'jaunty little bonnet' bit is genius.

Loved this film and adore The Thick Of It, Malcolm is the best character in a long time.

    'Let them eat cock!'

  • isnt the band cannabis corpse in this movie

  • me! it was hilarious! bit of a downer at the end when you remmeber oh yeah there's a war. but it's like hollowmen or wag the dog it's just poking fun at how retarded governments are and haphazard evertything is

  • We should get rid of them. See who holds up the fucking country then.

  • It's not a light comedy, it's a satire in which the very people responsible for the invasion of Iraq come out extremely badly.

  • Oh my gawd, you have basically posted the same comment on every 'ITL' clip that you can find! Who the fuck are you and what the fuck is your agenda?

  • @sonbarably It's not a light comedy, it's a pitch-black comedy of hatred and cynicism.

  • Comment removed

  • way to take the fun out of everything, jesus christ.

  • Sorry if I offended you.

  • yeah

  • Sublime film, from a superb TV show.

A minister in the UK government from 1997-2002, Estelle Morris, reckons if anything the swearing here is less than in real life.

  • Reading these comments is like watching a cleaner version of the Thick of It.

  • Why is Oliver called Toby?

  • because the setting changed completely they couldn't really have ollie in the film. so for some reason they got the same guy to play virtually the exact same character but with a different name. confusing.

  • you're right, of course, but its weird to see Malcolm not acknowledging Olly (Toby!), considering their past run-in's. just a little thing but I still love it.

  • I think the idea behind having some of the same actors play different characters is that even though it's a different department, the government drones are interchangeable.

  • you dont have a clue

  • and what makes you so sure you do you bizarrely pointless person.

  • You're clearly a fool if you don't have the intellect to appreciate this film and worryingly accurate it is at portraying how government departments are clearly run, laced with sharp and witty British humour throughout.

  • you couldn't really be more wrong. most people in british politics watch the thick of it, MPs and staffers in particular, because they find it so true to reality. they are queuing up to get cameos on the show and interviews for the little 'behind the scenes' bits. the same producers are behind the film.

  • okay. you've all changed my mind. I now think it's a seminal piece of British film making and that it will be ranked alongside the best films ever made. Fabulous camera work and a director like no other. A truly sharp and witty commentary on British politics. There, now can you all please fuck off!

  • that guy looks like House md

  • I just love the rhythm and delivery of "fucking Jane fucking Austen novel" !!! Capaldi is so awesome

  • "Okay, little ball cock jockey and the leaking fucking minge-box, go back to your desks and prepare briefing!" "She's married? Poor bastard!" LMAO Brilliant film

  • Blacking up refares to painting your face black like the black and white minstrals from 1970s and acting like a stereotype black man. Thus., you could 'black up' on the radio and nobody would notice.

  • Hi. I am American. Could someone tell me what Blacked up means. Thank you.

  • very, very, very well written

  • "I would've blacked up because it was radio - no one would've known."

    "Very good, yeah."

LOL. The quiet hatred burning from Tucker's eyes after Foster dismantles one of his bombs.

  • hilarious....

    "I would've blacked up"

    "you've been disinvited"

  • "You're not going on Question Time - you've been disinvited" - CLASSIC

  • I love that line as well!!!

  • Best comedy of 2009

    Rep from Pt

  • Brilliant film.

  • Not the time love im busy fuck off lol!!!

  • Walk the fuckin line!

  • "HEY Fetus Boy. Lesson one: When I tell you to fuck off what do you do?" "Uh... F off?" "You got far, now fuck off"

I saw this movie and I laughed hard several times, its hilarious and Malcolm Tucker's the best character in the movie.

  • Agreed.

    SHUT IT LOVE ACTUALLY!

  • She's married? Poor bastard.

  • Within your 'purview'? Where do you think you are, some fucking regency costume drama? This is a government department, not some fucking Jane fucking Austen novel! Allow me to pop a jaunty little bonnet on your purview and ram it up your shitter with a lubricated horse cock!

  • Peter Capaldi makes swearing a work of art. I listen to this every time I'm frustrated with work.

  • In The Loop is out now on DVD and Blu Ray. For more news and information on In the Loop or The Thick of It visit:

  • Lzwarren2 can you just do us a favour and just fuck off you spamming little bitch!

  • "not a good time love, fuck off."

  • I don't understand?! Why is Olly now Toby?!

  • I don't know the reason, but the people who play Terri and Glenn have bit parts too (not as Terri and Glenn). Malcolm and Jamie stay the same.

  • Considering the vastly different office positions some of these characters are in at the movie, and on a previous point in time than the series, it wouldn't make much sense to keep them as they were on the TV Show. It wouldn't make sense, for example, to have Glenn as the Director of Diplomacy when in the series he was an assistant to a Minister.

Malcom and Jamie could be kept the same, if only because their differences are not as vast as the others.

  • Cos this is "In the loop" and the guy was Olly in "The thick of it"

  • haha angela lansburry!!

  • Amazing Clip. I didn't expect to hear the phrase 'lubricated horse cock' when I watched this hysterical film.

  • HA! I saw Chris Addison live...he's hilarious :DD

  • regency costume drama

  • I love this film..it is a must see!! Brilliant Modern day political satire!!!...Malcolm Tucker will be a favourite for communication students years to come!! they don't teach communication like this in Uni...lol...

  • Amazing film, from an amazing show. P Capaldi deserves an Oscar for his scary, sweary Scot.

  • Too true!

  • yea another oscar

    he already has one

  • Ukkeskelf: nice counting! All we're missing now is a fucking partridge in a fucking pear tree.

  • I saw this on a flight back from the UK...I almost wet myself! 8-)

  • I saw this film today. More laughs per minute than any other film I've seen this year.

  • I'm seeing this soon. I'm looking forward to it.

  • laugh? I nearly shat - legend film.

  • why is chris addison suddenley playing someone called toby what happened to olly?

  • S, star, star, CUNT!

    Malcolm Tucker is so awesome

  • I make that 14 fucks or fucking, a shit, one shitter, a cock and a bastard. That's one swear word every 5.6 seconds. Go Malcolm!

  • World class swearing. Watch and learn.

  • I found it vulgar, insulting, profane, blasphemous, tacky and demeaning, and thoroughly enjoyable! Very clever film.

  • Allow me to pop a jaunty little bonnet on your purview and ram it up your shitter with a lubricated horse cock!

  • Oh! you guys have all seen the film and nowhere wihin 100 miles of where I am is showing it! so upset, gonna have to wait for dvd release which prob wont be till october/november

  • brilliant film!

  • Oh Baldy Ambassador, you're spoiling us....

  • 1:30 very funny

  • Saw this yesterday. Really enjoyed it.

    Difficult, difficult, lemon... difficult.

  • Saw the film at the weekend. Takes swearing to a new level but all done surprisingly appropriately - I mean if it isn't appropriate to swear when you're angry about the actions of pr*ck or @reslicker or whatever then when is it?

Probably the best bit of cinema I've seen this year - the whole place was laughing non-stop and we all left with silly big grins on our faces. Brilliant. Absolutely loved it.

  • "lubricated horse cock" is the best thing I have heard in ages.

  • lubricated horse cocks i need to see this flm!!

  • Lol, Tom is very nice.

    I love him.

  • It's nice to see that the lost art of swearing with style is making a comeback. Not since the Derek and Clive albums of the 1970s have I heard such a virtuoso display of blue language. Great writing!

  • Is the guy who played Ollie doing a diffrent person?

  • dont think so, it prob makes sence in the full film, know what you mean though

  • No, he IS playing a different character. He's Toby here...same sort of character though.

Only Jamie and Malcolm Tucker and Angela Heaney I think return from TTOI.

  • i can't wait for this, capaldi is amazing, it's only a shame that langham obviously can't take part - i'm sure that his replacement does a good job though... well i hope so!

... and yes, loads of Brits (DEFINATELY) Scots use s**t loads of swearing! f****g get over it mate!!!

  • the character is based on alastair cambell, he swore a lot, hes english

  • scottish surely

  • Ali's Scottish mate.

  • Crude racial stereotype, people from Scotland would never use such language1

  • well they should learn to do so then

  • Have you ever been to Weegie? Even the kids swear like that!

  • Comment removed

  • Well, the soldiers who formed the basis of massively-award-winning play 'Black Watch' certainly did, and so does Malcolm Tucker. Malcolm = AWESOME.

  • Iv lived in Glasgow my whole life. Plenty of people swear like that. You never go out!

  • oh I hope this is great, fuck sake knows we creative types need a cheering up

  • Peter Capaldi = gold.
