It is definitely getting to be chili weather here. I love cooking chili on a cold winter's day. It heats up the house and me! I'm a huge fan of black beans so I cheat on my white chili and add a few cans. I've never thought about adding roasted chilis so I'll give that a try next time, which by the way the temperature is dropping, will be this week.

I had a rabbit (who died a few years ago) who I named Bunniky. The original name I gave her was Bunnicula (named after the rabbit in the book). She was so young I couldn't tell her gender so I just assumed she was a he. Weeks later, it turns out he was a she so her name changed to Bunniky. I've never had chili before, let alone white chili but I'll definitely try this. Please continue to do more Phenovelnoms. I absolutely love them!!
hey gretchen, loving this phenovelnoms! quick hint! if you actually wanted to get rid of the charring off the chillis.. when you get them out of the oven put them in a plastic bag and shake the crap out of them.. the moisture collects in the bag from them being so hot and then because your shaking the heck out of them the charred bits stick to the plastic bags, and after a few shakes your left with cleaned off chillis! we do this with capsicums at home and at nonnas! :)
