What happened? She got hungry that's what! I won't cut her down, although I admit I am attracted to slim women (my wife is slim). But I have a weight problem to keep in check of my own and in OA I've met lots of nice fat ladies trying to do something about their food addiction! Basically once it gets out of control, it's not hard to end up like this, I caught myself ready to top 300 when i started to get help with my eating addiction!

I agree, I love Sally Struthers regardless of what people may think. I was a young teen during the "All in the Family" days, so I never paid much attention at that age. Well watching the syndicated show today, I will say this, Sally Struthers was one HOT looking woman. Thank you, Sally for all the great memories on "All in the Family" you'll always be a beautiful women in my book!

I wish people had more compassion. Sally struggled through years of deep depression. I don't know whether she turned to food for comfort, but it is a fact that some ant-depression meds cause some people to put on a lot of weight . Better heavy and alive than skinny and dead!

Also, after menopause the body changes making it very difficult to lose weight.

I think we should appreciate Sally for who she is and the many laughs she has given us plus the fact that she is still with us.

Maybe that's why people don't get it.What we see is the title, and the worst fat pictures juxtaposed with old hot ones. (There are better fat pictures.) But I also know there are medical reasons people get fat as well as being lazy. I know I don't know what Sally's deal is or why she wound up fat. So I don't think I'm in a position to call her a fatass and make fun of her just cause she's famous. People make fun of her cause she's fat without commenting on her comedy ......
