I would like to see an "Olive Branch" here. I don't think Gaylord Nelson/Earth Day Network would loose anything by finally acknowledging John McConnell/Margret Mead. They laid the groundwork for Earth Day. It's ironic... peace organizations arguing with one another. We could have an Earth Awareness month starting on the United Nation's International Earth Day, (the spring equinox) and run through April 22, the popular US Earth Day. The world is big enough to celebrate everyone's ego :>

@TheTrendone i totally agree. i may only be 17 years of age- but no one knows how bad earth really is nowadays. we're studying this in plant science- how agriculture now all of sudden must have 10 percent towards fuel. everyone takes everything for granted. I take a lot of things for granted- but after studying this for a couple months- i don't take anything for granted anymore. people need to understand things like that.
