@paylashawne Yeah, I know what you mean, It's sick: when I go to town with my friends there'll be a man there sitting on the floor with nothing apart from his clothes and he's there everyday, one time I went and bought him a ham sandwich and a bottle of water guess how much it costed: £1 and it brought a smile to his face, warmed my heart up :)

One time a homeless man was asking for money. I was in college and didn't have much money but I gave him some any way. I went back to my car and I realized I had an extra taco. I walked back to give him the taco. He asked me if it had meat in it.  I said yes. He said I'm a vegetarian. People that are desperate enough to beg for money aren't vegetarians. There are too many people out there that are just trying to make a buck it's hard to feel sorry.

I used to think it's bad how homeless people spend any money they get on alcohol instead of food. But it's actually very logical for them to do so: for pretty cheap they get to feel a little less terrible, some calories plus it makes them feel warm. Much more attractive option than a slice of bread.
