little i want to tell you something, i have been playing Doom 2 since when i was 2 year old thank to my dad. ever since then, i been playing it through out my life, right now i'm 18 going into 19 and still playing doom series on my Window xp today. :)

@NontendOFied Yeah. Basically, the point is if it weren't for games like Wolf 3D and Doom, we wouldn't probably see games like Halo, Call of Duty, or other FPS games we see today and instead get another Battlezone inspired game or even games inspired from Maze War or Spasim.

you need to remember it was Wolf and Doom that kick-started the FPS genre! there was fps games and scenes in movies, but it wasnt until Doom really that made it popular, then other companies were trying to out do it with better engine and gameplay each year until we got to this generation with Cod and halol
