  • Hello, I'm currently trying to place alternate headers on my novel - one page (header) is stating the title of the book, and the following page (header) is stating my name. I know how to accomplish this, however, on the 1st of each chapter, I wish to leave the header blank. Is this possible with Word, 2004? Also, is it possible to simply erase one header (page) without erasing all the following headers? Thank you.

  • Its not working for me either.....This is so annoying

  • Ok it worked now. I had to rightclick on the header text and click on "Remove content control".

  • it doesnt bloody work it keeps linking the above header to the new one arrggh

  • and what if I want EVERY page to be different? not just the odd and even ones?

  • Now that's more like it! Appreciate you DemoTrainer! Love how professional your video comes across.
