  • Does he still do this?

  • I wonder how would Eric Cartman do in this kind of survival thing.

  • Spent a week in february alone in moutains, full gear... I had fun in 100 miles/h winds, visibility 10 feet.

Would have been hell with his minimum gear.

If he really did spend 7 days up there, the men has skills and endurance

  • This is more realistic survival skills than the cutie, Bear Grylls.

  • seeng you like this makes me sad

  • 127 hours reference about cutting your own arm off.

  • @TheMasterGouki discovery channel cant do fuck all..they got no proof its theres..its could be from OLN or other channel

  • Thanks a lot for posting these!

  • @TheMasterGouki Survivorman isn't with Discovery, it's with OLN. :P

  • the story ... 127 hours xD

  • @66minifootball99 tht wasnt even a bok when this was made, so it was just a story then

  • @modernwar2ghostrp yea i sed story xD

  • lol he mentioned 127 hours

  • @clap4vids hehe you realised too :P

  • I like how there's the constant whistle of the cold wind, lol. Poor Les.

  • how did he get the shot at 0:52 or adjust the camera at 5:46 ??

  • @dakotaisgreat He sets up cameras on tripod to film from far away, then he has to go all the way back to get them. He's complained about it a few times, lol.

And maybe the camera was auto-focusing.

  • how the fuck did he get the shot at 0:52 ??

  • @dakotaisgreat as he said there is a safety crew nearby so he most probably left the tripod with the cam there and the crew recovered it later...

    plausible ?

  • honestly the only thing i see thats different between this and bear grylls is that bear doesnt have to take it slow because he's not lugging around 60 pounds of camera eqiuipment

  • does Les know that those "rocks that fell" is from glacial erosion called a moraine and that those large rocks are erratics most liekly that dont look like they will fall

  • who was filmimg Les on 0:59 or did he leave the camera behind ???no way he was gonna go back to get the camera after passing half the glacier while he was scared shitless of falling in !!

  • @truesemite Yes he was filming himself and did have to go back to get the camera even thought he was already half way across the glacier, its all apart of his filming.

  • @Mcavene824 les has alot of balls i tell yeah lol i just wish he would make new episodes :(

  • @truesemite Yes i wish he would too but he said hes gettting to old to put his body threw all that again =(

  • lool this is awesome thanks for the upload

  • @Bbgood299 not even close sir

  • BTW, Did anyone notice that the story he tells @ 6:47 is the one and the same story portrayed in the movie, "127 Hours"? Pretty cool!

  • @lilgookiemonsta Bear tells the same story on one of his episodes

  • This man would survive a zombie apocalypse.

  • 6:50'' and its gonna be a movie in 2011''

  • 1:30 whoa, full on, across the sky. What does it mean?

  • @DoYerBest

Oh my god, oh my gawd!! WOOOOOOOOO!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Ohhhh double rainbow; ohmygawd.

  • "He had to break his arm with a rock and sever it with his own penknife" He was talking about 127 hours! aron roston.

  • Dafidd is the Les Stroud of Youtube.

  • Les is taking WAY more of a risk because if he gets injured, or bit by something poisonous, he will die or have to be very lucky to survive.

Bear on the other hand, takes stupid risks, because he knows there's a crew with him and he can be airlifted at a moments notice.

  • 6:50 HE IS TALKING ABOUT Aron Ralston

  • enough slamming bear people, yes he goes to a hotel after filming, but consider the things he is teaching, like how to save yourself if you fall into a frozen lake. Bear will jump into the lake and then show how to get out and dry off, but if you listen to the stories of real survivors who go through something like that, they usually lose toes or fingers to frostbite. Bear shows how to deal with something like that but i doubt hes gonna risk losing digits for a show.

  • i guess it doesnt show, but it would seem that crossing the other side of the lake would have been safer than crossing the glacier.

  • Les is like the UFC and Bear is like the WWE. One is real survival, and one is fake survival

  • why does it matter if Les or Bear is better? they both give off valuable information about surviving in the Wilderness, sure maybe Les might be better because he doesn't have a camera crew with him, but they still both have good inputs on how to survive in the wilderness.

  • @momo4895 I agree, both purvey some useful info, I much prefer the 'realness' of Stroud personally though. Stroud and Ray Mears' programs are best IMO.

  • DOUBLE RAINBOW!

  • 3 persons are going to get dropped without less trouts experience

  • There are times when saying things like that are good, and times when they make you look like an idiot. This is one of those times because you have absolutely no idea the consequences of copyright infringement. The punishments are determined by many things. Reporting something like this to the DFS is just going to make them laugh their asses off at you. Study up before you open your mouth.

  • Will some one please message me if this fucking fraud finds any food. He teaches nothing anyone can go a week with out food. your a fucking fraud Les. Ps bet the fuckwit can't make fire either

  • @xann1 If you did what bear grylls does you'd be dead in like 3 days. Les stroud doesn't do fancy bullshit because that gets you killed. Also bear has a tv crew to give him medical aid if he breaks his foot from trying to climb mountains like a retard or eats something poisonous.

  • @xann1 what the fuck would you do? chase squirrels like a fucking moron? the man not only is stoic about getting little food, he actually bothers to take some good shots to make the show better. you, sir, are a fucking asshole. if you dont like Les, why the fuck are you even watching the videos?

  • @xann1 you're the biggest tool ever. you wouldnt last one day in his boots. go play call of duty and shut the fuck up.

  • @SSgtParmer lmfao ur a goof, these vids have been up over a year. If les or anyone who owned survivorman felt that this is copyright infringement, the videos would have been taken down a long time ago. stfu and enjoy the man being a man

  • ''im not getting paid enough for this'' hahaha

  • I hope he gets paid well for this.

  • Yea that must be miserable to walk half a kilometer and walk all the way back just for 1 camera shot

  • Sleeping in that cold crack in the rock is pretty hardcore, I've done similar and the cold is not funny at all, respect to Les, not easy for an older guy

  • OK I dont get on thing why do people worry if Survivorman or Bear Grills is fake who cares if they are or not watch the show and enjoy it and he is alone but always has a radio or something on him to let people know where he was at if he got hurt.

  • bear grylls my ass, les stroud rulez

  • @rambo14943 thought that too, but its actually the wind

  • this is the only episode so far I will give him some credit - cuz he's in my playground and I do know how mean that rain can be.. but he's still talking crap- and 2100 m is nothing.. maybe now, he has a little respect...

  • @rambo14943 probably wind

  • this is considered copyright

  • I have seen all the Survivorman posted on youtube. they are all, in fact a little bit boring like a football match, nothing exciting, nothing extraordinary! but that natural! I like the show but to survive just seven days is nothing! seven weeks or 7 months..or something would be more challenging..

  • @lrpa12345 Idiot.

  • Anyone else catch the editing at 5:47? He's there, he's gone, camera pans in, he's there again! I thought I found evidence of a camera crew. It's not.

  • @ramsantosjr:

We do do this 4 real, it's called trekking... or camping.... or canoe tripping... or backpacking...

  • someone needs to do this 4 real. without any crew or shit! if u die or live so b it. keep it real.

  • @ramsantosjr I guess it would be pretty interesting, but is it really fair to let someone risk their life just for entertainment? I think not. There's no point in letting someone go out there... In some ways, it's suicide.

  • It's a slime.

  • that is a rock lobster

  • i call BS on the rocks sticking to your boots because of electromagnetic activity. love les anyways, just think once in awhile he says something retarded

  • people think that the reason that Les doesnt do the risky shit Bear does is cuz hes a "pussy" but he doesnt have 4 or 5 people with him to carry him back to a safe area.

  • @zzbunch Very true. And most of the stuff Bear does is just to show you how to get out of those situations if you ever get yourself into it. i.e. don't try this deliberately when you're alone.

  • @zzbunch bear has 2 people to carry his ass back

  • @zzbunch

Bear wouldn't be doing the shit he does if he were all alone and had to carry all the camera-gear.

  • @zzbunch Who called him a pussy?

  • @zzbunch doesn't have a safety rope either.

  • @zzbunch Actually it's more because he actually shows you how to survive instead of doing stupid shit that will end up getting you killed for viewers .

  • 1:33 RAINBOW

  • What a guy... And he's a comedian!

  • lol 6:21

  • love this show! thanks for posting

  • What an absolutely amazing landscape. It has this haunting beauty to it.

  • Dafidd you rock dude. I'm guessing this video is from the actual DVD set? It's quite different compared to the TV rips due to the extra commentary with Les and the Survivorman logo underneath.

  • yhea it's from the DVD's...i guess :D
