Classic Nintendo design philosophy: the more frustrating the level or boss fight is, the cooler the music that's composed for it.

The music for the purple coins is a shining example of this philosophy. I suffered through some of them, but this music always kept me going.

It's true that lots of people think gg is the best but to each guy their own taste. I tend to listen more to it than it really deserves cause of all the praise its been getting but really that ain't a bad thing

@thebarkingpig Well seeing that purple coins isn't the only SMG track which has a similar remixed tune to Gg I'll say Gg was most likely orchestrated first. I've been listening to these tracks since shortly after TRMario uploaded the music, by about 2 months after

I also had the chance to see the live sessions of a few SMG tracks in the making right on YT; Gg was there & this was the only video of its kind(& probably the only) I've seen. It might take awhile for you to find but there's the proof

Yea I guess I'll bow down my head in shame cause, you got me. I can't think of any other SMG track with similar tunes with GG than this right here. I could say Good Egg but I'm not really sure. If there's a small group of syllables in there which sound near identical to GG then you see my point but still, you got me.

If I tried explaining what makes GG's music so great it won't matter cause you'd probably ignore it anyway
