This is one of my all-time favorite christian songs. Rich Mullins was such a good singer and lyricist. It is so sad that he died in a car crash. If that had not happened he would still be coming out with chart toping music.

Isn't this performed by The Ragamuffin Band? If I am not mistaken, Mullins died before he could actually record the studio version of this song. On "The Jesus Album" there was the only known recording of him playing the piano and singing this song, it is not the best quality having been recorded on a crappy cassette player. The song is awesome no matter who is singing.

actually i think the strongest and most wide spread christianity is to be found in christian countries in africa, such as for ex kenya. i can tell you they teach A LOT of christianity at shools down there. and those people are just amazing. wonderful people.

I think you should remind people that the blood of Jesus covers all sin, not just some.  I was once a fornicator, and sometimes I still fall, but I know that I am known by God--and I am comforted. This song has me in tears because my dad played this song on his radio station in Cayman; Heaven 97. I remember him telling me about Rich Mullins. I loved all of his songs... I was five.

My dad died two years later.
