Hernandez, Chavez, Corrales, Castillo, Corley, Baldomir, De La Hoya, & Hatton were all considered top notch fighters till Floyd put it on their asses. Floyd is breaking box office #s now, he cant fight everybody w/ a buzz. I think a Cotto vs Williams fight early in 08 would be good. Then Floyd could fight the winner.

I think now hatton should fight cotto, maybe at a catch weigh at light welter not only would cotto be a much more straight forward opponent for hatton but he has an habit of standing toe to toe and applies alot of pressure like he did in the mosley fight, even if both thier styles are similar I think a fight with cotto would be winnable for ricky has when he gets gun ho he will have a target in front of him instead of thin air in the case of mayweather

youre exactly right...media day is always 7 days prior to the fight once making the 14 day weigh in....boxers dont really show anything off on that day...all the hard work, all the strategic training has already been done by that day...media day is just like any other day within the last 7 days before the fight..shapening up and maintainin weight and good lungs. ive been boxing for 16 yrs i wouldnt comment unless i knew what i was talking about.
