  • Hmm, they should have had a '57 sump pump included in that time capsule as well by the looks of it.

  • they should have washed it.. whats a little more water.

  • this is the most beautiful car ive ever seen, right from being a kid the only car i ever wanted was my "christine" 1957 plymouth fury. so as im poor as an arsehole and will never be able to afford 1 if theres any rich old folks who want to give me theres and know it will get a good home and be looked after get beack to me lol

  • Boyd is a fuk stick and needs a bullet

  • Reminds me of the scene from the simpsons

  • they should try it again, and this time use a saleen!

  • should have just put it in a barn for 50 years

  • @1overthehillsfaraway FUCK YOU!!!!

  • @DranweRagetotem whats your problem? personally I would have liked to see a nicely preserved car, the way it is its just junk. Basically, they fucked up big time.

  • you can get the motor running but it will have to be torn down and completlt rebuilt

  • who burried this car??? a bunch of kids what a crappy job i would have done way better

  • Why on earth did they attempt to preserve an a car in tank of water. That is a really dumb thing to do.

  • @poussecafe3

You idiot. They made a concrete-encased tomb for it. But over the years, water and the elements of time cracked the concrete walls, and water and dirt flowed in. It was never intentionally filled with water.

  • Nono you have it wrong. In Russia they have pulled world war two tanks out peat bogs and they were in perfect condition after sixty years.

    Who is the idiot now!

  • @poussecafe3 well not perfect condition, but salvageable though with minimal fuss

  • It is not salvageable. It is junk. They would do better to go to a car breakers yard and find a similar model and rebuild the whole thing.

  • @poussecafe3 they didnt try to preserve in water, they placed in in basically a concrete tomb, but over the years the concrete begain to crack and rain water basically just filled up.

  • AHHHHH!!!!! It's Christine a 57 plymouth fury wonder what they were thinking when they buried her

  • they left the window open and moisture got in.....

  • O M G!!! they dug up Christine!!!!...and she looks like it. ....Nothing to see here folks...move along, move along.

  • I think it would have been awesome if they had opened the door, and bodies fell out.

  • @SakarianOutcast u have a sad life man

  • one of the biggest fails like ever in hemmings history!

  • All things considered, the car made it out alright. Aside from not being able to run, theres still chrome on it and the body is still in surprisingly good shape.

  • wow.

    this is like

what it would look like if they found the holy grail and jesus and it was being revild to the christain population.

insteadits a buch of idiots taking pictures of a cloth and then rust.

why dont they take pictures of the underside of my trailer

  • Whats the point??

  • That should buff right out.

  • Got Armor All?

  • why is Boyd wearing a maternity blouse

  • @thomasuras u do know he died

  • @MsCrazyboyz yea i do

  • Becuased the motor is rusted and stuff lmfao what a bunch of dumb hicks

  • Christine was a 1958 plymouth Fury.

  • what is the latest news on the car? Has it been restored?

  • christine!!!!! i knew she would survive for ever!

  • Such showboating for a rustbucket! Treasures from 3,000 year old Egyptian tombs came out looking better. I love how that guy still wanted applause for his crew long after the realization that they would be doing nothing at all.

  • ill buy it for 10 bucks

  • Aw shit, you could get that motor running if you really wanted.

  • thy should have put it in a zip-lock bag!

  • rip boyd ,dut this is a job for chip foose!!

  • @bugsier5 RIP Boyd, fuck chip foose.. all he's gonna do is give it a 2-tone paint and big wheels. this is a job for Bill Hines!

  • @psychomig1 Fuck Boyd.

  • @cincyblows i guess you dint like Boyd. lol

  • @psychomig1 Boyd was a great car builder and a genius, but he was a total asshole when it came to dealing with people. I once had a boss exactly like him -I took another job and walked out on the Boyd-like one I had, but not before telling him to fuck off. Duane was another piece of shit when it came to dealing with people, and a total asskisser to Boyd.

  • @cincyblows i hear ya, i worked at Jet auto from the age of 13 to 18, total dick, but a great builder. i learned a lot from that dude but id never work for him again.

  • @cincyblows didnt

  • its herby's mother!

  • please shut up boyd....i bet you if you let younger guys work on this precious car it would look better than boyd would ever dreamed of....there would not be 5000 rims or expensive paint just a beautiful car meant for the regular people to see not just a toy an old rick guy would could write a check for...void the boyd!!!!!

  • Love to see a starting video.

  • instead of pristine condition it was in Christine condition.

  • That's such an awesome idea for a time capsule, especially for Boyd and his crew for finding it. I would leave it as it is and not restore it. That's something special

  • it would look better if it was stored in a garage rather then underground

  • what about this car? its been underground? :P

  • I remember that!

  • your'e ride been officially pimped

  • We have lost our way. We are a people who are worshiping an old car.

  • @StigmataBOB1 - We lost "our way" a long time ago. Let's not bring religion into something like this, dumbass.

  • @StigmataBOB1 - Woop de effing doo, it's car lovers seeing a car after fifty years. If you buried a bible for fifty years, you'd be excited to see it come back out. Nonetheless, religion has no place on the internet unless it's in a private forum. No one wants bible-thumpers shoving beliefs down their throat.

  • @FlyingFatality Now I know how Moses Must have felt when he came down the Mountain and saw people worshiping a Cow. I apologize for offending you or your Idle. I did not know what it meant to you.

  • @StigmataBOB1 - Don't even get me started on idols, this could go on forever. As I said, I have my beliefs (which do not involve worshipping cars, and this is not car worship), and you have yours. But seriously, let's keep this off of the internet. This is not where religion belongs.

  • @FlyingFatality wot the f****s with you and religion!

  • @vicksmann74 - I hate it and the bible thumping dipshits who shove it down my throat.

  • for you people that don't understand whats so special about it, its special because this car gets a second chance in life, im 14 and i even understand why its so special!

  • such a nice car! would have love to have seen it being buired then dug up again such a shame it got wet but the finds in it servied that is great and the keys where still in it!

  • lol theres a dead trapped worker inside the car

  • yanks will idol almost anything

badnews is it dosent run lol, throw it away man or give it to a kiwi, we restore cars like way better than most haha

    itll run in n.z

  • someone enlighten me...why is this piece of junk 'very special' ?

also ..learn to write correctly @ thiefrules

  • Yep, its very special. Like a 75 year old women staring in her first porno movie.

  • very special ? its a manky piece of poo

  • @ThirdDegreeWitch shutup arsshole

  • @thiefrules It's spelt 'asshole'

  • they seal it like it was a pice of bread hahaha

  • what car is it?

  • @1337BananaL33TVostok desricption.

  • what episode was this? this is american chopper right?

  • would have been in better shape if it had been driven all those years :p

  • @Veikra or just standing in a garage at the plymouth plant

  • open the hood!!!

  • dries and conserves it for the eternity I love this car.

    Greetings from Germany.

  • i love how they lift the curtains and its still covered :P

  • Take it to the car wash.

  • I love thiscar.....fuck... shit, i just want to drive a litle.... :(

  • Wat a shame....it should have been sealed better....that's what time capsules are supposed do.

  • Y do they have to do this shit with the same car from christine it's kinda eerie

  • fucking beutiful

  • That would've been cool if all they had to do was blow it off with some compressed air and it still looked brand new.

  • The city of Tulsa special ordered this car only to bury her!!

  • boyd coddington is a douche. he destroys solid original cars and is the last person who should be touching a time capsile like this, not to mention his assembled crew of retards. the car should have been preserved in a museum by expert preservationists. end of story. i, personally, was glad to hear he's dead.

  • Bush was a success?

  • The pathetic condition of the car caused Boyd to have a heartattack and he wasn't around long after this. Lots of hope invested and it was a failure, not unlike Obama.

  • i saw i vid in youtube,their restring it with waterbase rust removal and steam,they want it to be original. . . . . . . . . .

  • bad ass car. id drive it.....if it drove

  • That'll buff right out.

  • if i twas sealed better it would be in better shape

  • they probably sealed it the best they could

  • @92iron too bad pressurising wasn't invented back then...

  • they couldn't have washed it prior to this?

  • my vagina secretes milky fluidsssss

  • wasnt this car or something similar in a tv show where a shop gets a call about it?

  • i bet ms. belvedere still has that new car smell after all them years in the mud!! i would but that car as is!!

  • DeSoto firedome. my bad.

  • i really hope someone restores this car because theres really not many left to be honest. the seto firedomes, furys, belvederes.

  • wow i love the christine movie. 1957 ey

  • Why, so that we are even for me titty fuckin' your mom! Oxygen thief!

  • Shut up mate, you're boring!

JOEBLO, Mind your own business? You are posting a comment for everyone to see? Who has shit for brains? You are the dumbest, most immature redneck gangster wannabe I have ever encountered, go back to your room and play with your Priapism.

  • lol

  • wats a priapism?

  • would be in better shape if it was kept in a barn.

  • OH S**T, its Christine, back from the grave!

  • HAhA fail!

  • I wonder if the lights come on and the engine fires up as in Christine with that shrieking music

  • did i hear right??? "the tires are flat and thats pretty exciting"....".pretty cool it has the word "PLYMOUTH" on it."........if ever there was an announcer clutching at straws and desperately trying to find something to say, you just viewed it on this vid!!.

  • we had a dark blue Plymouth wagon with those lines

  • Boring!

  • This story was in Mopar collectors guide. They buried it in the fifties with a concrete seal but it broke and ground water seeped in and rotted it out. Boyd Coddington and his crew were hired to salvage it but they got sick for some reason. probably the 50 year old chemicals and rust.

  • well the water actually seeped through the concrete itself...just one of the many flaws incurred during it so called preservation

  • christine lives !!!

  • i dont think the queen of england got this much attention

  • Queen of Great Britain and Northern Ireland get it right!

  • my point being she never got this much attention so dont get it twisted motherfucker alright and nobody cares

  • Ah ignorance rules within the US of A then! Dumb Shitted Prick!

  • Oh i know what you are mate! A fucking low life part of society that has no goal in life only to watch youtube videos all day. get a fucking life or be a complete dick! • Im doing great how about you?

  • im fantasmic

  • hahaha!

  • an angry youtube guy?

  • Poor fucking car, what a shame...

  • christine!!!

  • Plymouth made not only the Belvedere, but they made the Fury along with the same body style. And other models as well.

  • In the book at least and, I meant to type actually in my last comment.

  • Actuakky, Christine was indeed a Belvedere.

  • i thought it was a fury

  • Any skeletons inside ?

  • What? No one changed the oil every 6 months regardless of mileage? What a pity!

  • crank it over !

  • belvedere

  • Is this a Fury or a Belvedere? Christine was a 1958 Plymouth Fury.

  • And who said that 'Christine' doesn't exist.

  • hey dog thats fucking christen out of that movie that bad ass car

  • mande noticias , sobre o carro voces vao restaura lo ,,, tomara que sim

  • i want to see whats under the hood

  • back from the dead

  • That's the stupidest thing i've ever seen. Why didn't they put it in a vault that was ON TOP of the water table in that town. Idiots!

  • I remember this news story and actually it wasn't their fault, there had been a slow leak in a water main nearby which happened sometime after the burial and that's what flooded it.

Damn shame, that car was brand new and flawless when they put it in.

  • Too bad it wasn't buried in the desert, this was the same make used in Stephen King's Christine (a 58 Plymouth). The car was completely submerged in water several times in its vault, idiots.

  • This car has six miles on it. Also, the rear leaf springs rusted in half, which is why the rear end sits so low.

  • So much for a time capsule.

  • I'm obviously missing something here;Spooky music-camera flashes-drum roll; It's a freakin 57 plymouth. My grandmother had one.My uncle probably buried behind her house with the rest of their crap.

  • Sitting since 1957 with all the fluids in the engine it would have seezed up. You would have a time gitting past the rust also to try to unseez the engine

  • what a fucking waste!!

  • R.I.P. boyd

  • when did he died??????

  • this year

  • oh!
