Any time I try to play the campaign, the game screws upwhen I get in the jeep. I can play the beginning, but once I get in the gun, the guys driving just stand up with their arms out like they're shooting at something.

That's because its either you ran out of ammo or you burned the gun up. I found a trick that seams that works. don't hold the trigger like in this video, shoot for about 3-5 seconds or so then stop firing and then wait for about 3-5 seconds then start firing again and repeat this action until the end of the mission ;). when I did like in this video, the gun stopped working like you said, but when I do this what I'm telling you to do, it never stops working (lasted the whole mission) ;).

no russians were in CoD4 because it's modern warfare based off the war today (not the story line with the whole nuclear weapons thing) but with weapons and U.S soldiers in Iraq. and even so the russians were the bad terrorists in the game..what good are russians today anyway

Cheats? oh yeah... right click ur shortcut on ur desktop, and in target, add +set thereisacow 1337 +set developer 1 +set sv_cheats 1 +set monkeytoy 0, and in a resumed game bring down the game consele (you did activate the in-game consle in the options menue right?) by hiting ~ and type in ur cheat. cheats ONLY work in a resumed singlplayer game.
