  • No...i'm not that old! That was in '67 when John McCain was a pilot on the flight deck.I served from late '88 to mid '92 on there.Matter of fact i was born in '67...so it;s hard to forget the incident.

  • Kimberling City,Missouri is a few miles outside of Branson Missouri(entertainment capital of mid- America). We also live a few miles from Silver Dollar City which is an amusement park which i suppose you have heard of.I have been there so many times i got burned out!!

  • I live in the peaceful countryside in Kimberling City,Mo...just a couple miles outside Branson,Mo which i am sure everyone has heard of....but unfortunately is a little far from Europe!!

  • I would gladly come if i had the cash to do it.I have been to 7 Countries...6 of them twice virtually free while travelling/working on the Carrier. But that was over 20 yrs ago!!

  • @oLdSkOoLkisS

Well, maybe there will be the time and the chances to travel again for you. But we gonna produce shurely some vids from our event and those might be a little comfort to you at least. And.. I had no clue where Kimberling might be. I checked that out on Google maps. Make it equal an travel in a virtual world to my place what is Wettingen, close to Zurich in Switzerland

  • Very nice RC's....I served on the flight deck of the real Forrestal for almost 3.5 out of 4yr enlistment.ANCHORS AWEIGH!!

  • @oLdSkOoLkisS

Thanks for your comment! Then you would be a perfect guest at our next show case in april. So, maybe you are just in this time on holidays in Europe, who knows ;-)! And if so, Europe is just small, Switzerland a kind of in the center, just come along !!

  • @oLdSkOoLkisS Thanks for your service and I hope that you weren't serving when that missile launched on the flight deck.

  • Dolomedes is one heck of a strange boat

  • @y512516

Dolomedes fully arouse the imagination of Hans. He once told me, that he is not very fond of the modern yacht designs and that he especially likes the difference. So here we are, sporting a real exclusive and futuristic design of a possible ocean liner.

  • @RetoFor

I don't think its really practical

but aren't all great art creations

  • Where do you get those at?

  • @Kindred0McQueen

Not everything might be bought ;-). They are selfmade, the carrier over a period of more than 20 years and the water spider is even fully designed by Hans. So, let be inspired and start your own project - the sky is the limit!

  • omg 20 years... in the making of the carrier

  • Awesome. Now get a few micro rc airplanes and helicopters, some rc battleships, and an rc submarine and have an rc war.

  • wow, will be amazing if it could fly!

  • Way too cool! Great job, especially CV 59. The music goes well with the illustration also

  • This is a very cool example of focus and enthusiasm!! Other than that, what the hell is up with the fucking '80s porn music?

  • @desiinsuwanee

Thanks for your interest and sorry we might not match your taste of music. But as excuse to than it is to say, that most of use are those curious guys from the '80s and as a matter of fact -- I LOVED TOP GUN -- Yeah! ;-)

  • Awesome. Bet it was a bitch getting it ballasted....

  • no kiddo... that carrier took 20 years to fully finish??? WOW...

  • Yes, that's right! Of course this is the elapsed time and not the net working time. But even so I do believe that Hans mentionned that it tooks about 8'000 working hours (so far!). And as many other projects there is always something to improve. Presently Hans is making the aircrafts moving around on the flight deck. But of course there won't be any cuts in the deck or any visible wiring. He is doing it with magnets in the plane and beneath the deck.

  • WOW again. Beautiful piece of work there man! Post more full length videos of her cruising will ya?

  • Probably there will be other video first as we still do have a lot of vessels and we would like to give tribute to them too. But anyway, please register as subscriber or friend and then you get an info when I post a new vid.

  • This is a beautiful build my friend!

  • this cost $400,000,000 in tiny bills

  • Yup! ...and the construction of the model machine to count those bills will be the next challenge!

  • Love that water spider ,very futuristic.
