What a wonderful inspiration Donald Day is to us all, and to disabled people particularly. To be able to recover from his horrific accident, and now over 10 years later still to be driving so competently with one arm, is humbling.
Of course, with any car other than an ERA, with its preselector gearbox, it would be difficult, if not impossible.
What a guy! I remember years ago watching mr day fail to get off the line at cadwell for what seemed like an age, finally got going and finished, I think, second! Awesome driver!
