Even Simon and Paula have used dead locks before on talent shows they've done/ Simon may not have used it yet in this show, but he has gone to deadlock on the UK x factor before. So dont just bash Nicole. Almost all judges have used it to these competition or will use it . If it wasn't supposed to be used then they should never of added that as an option Then the judges wouldn't have it to call upon if they dont want to say no to some young kid. Look, Marcus Canty won't sell when he goes out of X Factor. IMO You can hate if you want, that is my opinion that's all.

I don't normally watch this show. I just saw the crying fit on the morning news. So I decided to watch both her and Marcus' songs on Youtube. The only difference is Marcus is more current. Singing hip hop sells! Rachel can sing but her voice wavers a bit off key and has pitch issues. But both reaked of desperation in their songs. Her crying fit looked like a Pageant brat "mommy you promised..." It showed that she is not ready for the gross misfortunes of the music industry.

Ok guys, Nicole sent the desision to deadlock because it was hard for her to choose! And she wasn't the only one who voted Rachel off! Plus it was AMERICA'S vote that sent her home!!! If you wanted her safe you should have voted. I feel for you though because I felt the same way when Pia got sent home on American Idol.
It wasn't Nicole's fault at all, she coudn't make a decision because herself had gone through a talent contest and knows what being htere feels like. She thought the puclib would choose Rachel and she left it to deadlock. Wow, that little girl is an old soul - so humble, mature, kind and talented. I don't even know how to chose - Josh and Chris are SO different, but equally talented. M & M are really good, (Marcus is just adorable!), I just don't think they are as unique as J & C, and The X factor is all about bringing something new and unique to the table. Rachaels last performance the night before was not as good as marcus's last performance I thought, they say you are only as good as your last performance, unfortunately Nicole made a poor decision when it's part of her job to send someone home, especially when rachael clearly should have stayed - CHRIS RENE has the whole x factor, go Chris, u are going to win this thing, we love u from new Zealand xx

i'm from Croatia and i've been watching this whole show...i just can't believe that America votes rather for Chris Rene than Rachel or Marcus, and i know what I'm talking about because i'm in music business for a while now.
Chris Rene is not bad, but he will not sell as many records as Rachel or Marcus and he's definitely not as interesting and lovable as Rachel...c'mon people this kid got the X FACTOR.

@rupatg69 i am GENUINELY not trying to be mean or negative, but i believe that chris rene WILL sell many, many, many records. in america especially, his type of music is really relevant and emotional and his story relates to what a lot of people are going through (drug abuse). chris may not be a cute teenage girl or a fresh young guy with slick dance moves, but hes got a real passion and hes very, very talented at writing his own music. CHRIS RENE HAS GOT THE X FACTOR<3 so VOTE PLEASE

guys, stop critisizing Nicole and wasting ur time on talking bout sth that have happened! I don't normally watch this show. I just saw the crying fit on the morning news. So I decided to watch both her and Marcus' songs on Youtube. The only difference is Marcus is more current. Singing hip hop sells! Rachel can sing but her voice wavers a bit off key and has pitch issues. But both reaked of desperation in their songs. Her crying fit looked like a Pageant brat "mommy you promised..." It showed that she is not ready for the gross misfortunes of the music industry.

It wasn't Nicole's fault at all, she coudn't make a decision because herself had gone through a talent contest and knows what being htere feels like. She thought the puclib would choose Rachel and she left it to deadlock. We all could see in everyone's face this was not the result we all hoped, but it's not Nicole's fault, it's America's fault for not voting for her and taking her for granted.

I watched this program hoping the judges would stop competing with each other and focus not just on the best singer, but the singer with the most X FACTOR! They forgot the title of their own show. Simon, be there for Rachel....you know the dark place she's heading for.
Maybe all the judges can check their ego at the door and come together (without Nicole) and fix this mess. As for me, I'm gone until you get it right!

Wow, that little girl is an old soul - so humble, mature, kind and talented. I don't even know how to chose - Josh and Chris are SO different, but equally talented. M & M are really good, (Marcus is just adorable!), I just don't think they are as unique as J & C, and The X factor is all about bringing something new and unique to the table. Here's an idea - maybe people commenting can stop being so cruel & rude! I can't believe some of the immature comments - mean people suck :(

I think Simon really sucks as a judge in this show. He is so biased. ACTUALLY ALL of them are biased. This show is basically Judge VS Judge trying to get there singer through >_> That's why this show sucks.

@SlightlyBlitzd I disagree. It is about vocals and everybody can't sing. Chris Rene is like a shade tree mechanic or a jack of all trades. He can do a lot of things but none really well. When I hear a song on the radio that I like, it's the vocals that gets my attention. I could care less who wrote it
