Ok, it is still under construction but it clearly shows where we are going. So , ten years from now we will be able to communicate with virtually anyone in the world without actually spending several years in the foreign language study.

If a person says in english; "Hey, Thats funky you little man" And then it would translate to (in Japanese) "Hey, Thats fuck you little man"

It needs quite a bit of refinement. If you pause the video at 0:51 and 2:24, you will see the English translation doesn't make a great deal of sense.

@punchthedog Compare it to the google translation function, and it is much much better. Translating between two functionally different languages is quite a task, they did it well, you can sort of figure out what the translation meant.

@RareVDO Could say something similar to you as well. There are still more people talking Chinese natively than all the English speaking nations combined. Language has a lot of hidden knowledge built in though, and it would be a true loss if we all abandoned our own languages in favor of English. But English makes an excellent 2nd language in that case. And I would advocate for everyone to be at least bi-lingual, including those speaking English natively.
