FOX promoted the show all wrong.

Dollhouse is not Eliza Dushku soft-porn. It goes into identity, what makes a person who they are. Memories? Is there a soul inside that is the basis of the person and no matter what, it can't be wiped.

It is also about technology and power. as said in the show, "..we split the atom, we make a bomb" when we have technology we will not only use it, we'll abuse it.

the show got heavily promoted in season 1 if i rememeber shows that are in there 2nd season dont get promoted really unless they are hit shows and well Dollhouse isnt a hit show. It is the lowest rated show on any network right now. And the fact Bones and House repeats are nearly 50% better ratings means the show wont get a back 9 or a 3rd season.

heavily promoted ok I guess only on Friday nights. If I remember correctly its the best show on Friday night and were talking about Friday the worst time slot ever! paired up with till death and some random shows. not to mention that fox has always had a spike up there ase when it comes to Joss they canceled Buffy,Firefly stick his new show in Friday until 8:00 (we have to wait for it) and also take control of 6 episodes if it's fail show why give it a 2nd season? merchandise money just like scc

well what slot should they have given it? have u seen the first 5 episodes of season 1? they were awful which is why the said lets but this on friday. Its not goijng to be a raitngs winner but it might do ok. And well How come Ghost whisperer and Medium do well on friday? because they are watchable unlike Dollhouse. The scripts were sloopy and the acting was poor. Look instead of people being angry about the show axing be happy it god a 2nd season when it didnt deserve it with the poor ratings.

tuesday and if you had read the comment before you would have notice that FOX MADE THE FIRST SIX EPISODES. Also I bet your one those people that see a comment about Eliza saying "she acted bad in this episode" and you agree with them without giving it a 2nd though. even if that was true there are many actors that have amazing skills. Also on like any other tv show joss said "not one single episode was film in the correct order" they had to remake the pilot and SRLY GHOST wow don't compare!!!!!!

yes at least I'm happy that it does get an ending unlike tscc. but HEY! now I can watch those hit shows that go in circles over and over again(house M.D,bones,sytycd) and of course there hit show which they call "the BEST" glee<-LOL about teens that all join together to sing and make there troubles go away and yes i do sometimes watch glee but only for sue Sylvester. fringe is the only show making me go back to fox but they will soon change it bcuz it makes people think with there brains.

Firefly was an amazing show and I wish it could have gone further.

Personally, my favorite Whedon show is BtVS, but that's just me speaking.

The thing with Dollhouse is that I never watched one of his show's while they were still new. ie dvds & hulu. and I would hate that to go away so soon.

Dollhouse maybe no Firefly, but it's what we got and I like it.. a lot. It's one of the best shows that is still airing.

well I really wanted to like Dollhouse coz well Joss does great shows and i like Eliza when she was in Tru Calling. But there are so many episodes that have been poor and some have been decent. The first 5 eps of season 1 were horrible. U cant blame people for leaving the show. Same with season 2 the first 3 eps were poor then ep 4 was ok. No consistency in quality episodes is the problem.
