Im getting the sense of feeling at the end of the film, it was the beginning of the end of mankind. i love films like these cos it actually gives the veiwer the sense of dread and fear phsyicologically and i also loved it when the film kept the mystery of the creatures anonymous and never explained what they were, they left that to the veiwers imagination. classic, love it!

I watched this movie late, late one night in the middle of winter. It scared the absolute crap out of me. I mean, I laid in bed and just... listened to the silence and shivered.

Honestly it's not even the best made movie, not the most expensive set or snappy dialogue. But it casts this slow and creeping sense of hopelessness and dread, and the kind of sick fear you feel in a nightmare, when you know you are in danger but you don't know what is after you, or where it is.
