@eddimurpi because not everyone makes modded pc's obviously. mostly just tells you everything i put in it is running good. I was meaning to make vids showing its performance, but i didnt get to it.
@nakedmongoose123 my room temperature is usually around 22C, and CPU is around 41C and 50-52C when under stress. Mobo is around 40C under stress.
So i'd say its fine unless you'd like it a little lower for the chip. For higher overclocking I would definitely get a better heat sink. And it pretty consistent as well.
@ProjectSAGE have not tried overclocking at all or SLI, since i bought this mobo so that i could later on. ;)
You would probably need to download the updated bios then it should be good since it is a reputable brand and has TurboV/Key included that is meant for overclocking. Also supports 2000OC on the ram.
I would presume it would be good after a bios update, but i havent tried it myself until i deck my system when prices go down ;)
Also note: this mobo wasnt on newegg anymore when i got it.
Just dump that GTS and you are good to go :) Just try games like Bad Company 2 or Metro 2033 and you see what i mean. Even my GTX 260 (oc @ 720mhz core, 1512,mhz shader and 1280mhz mem) can run BC2 only with effects medium others at high and without AA :( I was thinking to get this same mobo and get 2x GTX 460s. Those cards are just beasts in SLI. Otherwise nice rig those blinking LEDs are cool :)
@Kh4m0u: I agree on the GTS. For a little bit more money it does make a little bit of difference. But, this card will play games like GTA IV, mass effect, halo 2, left 4 dead 2 with pretty good settings, for a cheaper price.
also, the computer needs 4 gigs in total for better performance.
HOLY SHIT SPARKS ARD FLYIN OUT DA CPU!!! GET DA WATER! GET DA WATER NIGGA! OH JESUS OH JESUS GET DA WATER!

@KINGhotaru11 If the motherboard has sata, then use sata. Much easier and can be quicker.

What's flashing red light next to the CPU or the memory? Or is the CPU / RAM?
Microdate 1 year ago
@Microdate The RAM is Crucial Ballistix Tracer red LED 2GB stick.

how good is the stock fan with no overclock? does it keep it at a decent temperature or do you recommend getting a new one?

Would you say that motherboard is good for overclocking?
Also have you tried it in SLI and if so is it any good?
