This movie was done with a bunch of ketchup, red dye/ink, two cars, and a shitty camera. The only gore you see is blood, no guts.... NOTHING. If I wanted to see a bunch of girls screaming while covered in ink and ketchup I'd just go to a frat party.

I'm an A-Level film student and I have to say I'm deterred from this film because of the hand-held camera...afraid it might follow the footsteps of BWP, "Diary of the Dead" and "Cloverfield". Never one to judge by a trailer though...I'll rent it.
I'm very, very hesitant to do so, though. First of all the inane, jibberish-filled screams present in the trailer make me cringe and I already mentioned my concerns about the camera...but we'll see. It's recommended, so we'll see. :)

I didn't mind it, to be honest. The levels of hysteria got on my nerves very early on, but I was impressed with the insanity of the murderess. :) I'm not sure whether it's "good" or "bad", but I wasn't really rooting for the 5 girls at the end which is really only the result of poor acting rather than poor filmmaking. Good story, good camera work, detestable characters but good scare factor. I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks for the recommendation. :)

I think at first I thought Oh god... then it strangely became quite real feeling, especially when they left the camera in the car when the girls ran off into the woods, and all you could hear where gun shots and screaming. Im a progressing Filmmaker so I admire the idea of this film. Im tempted to watch it again.

Where do you live? It has been released in most countries, but I think it comes out in the states in September. As for the trailer being good, but the film not--the trailer is just footage, dialog and music from the film. They are both brutal and awesome (IMHO).

It is one of my favorite movies of 2007. Just very very smart, but it does have some faults due to the budget. Still at the end of it you feel like you've been punched in the stomach!
It definately took some time to get used to. At first I was like "Oh god". But by the time the driver was confesing what a b*tch she had been to her friend (after her dad's ashes get spilled), I thought it was incredible.
I think most movies that feature "teenagers" as well. Basically every actor looks like a model ordering a drink from the bar. This movie felt completely real, and I think the raw performances are part of the reason. IMHO.

-there was no resolution other than the girls being scared
-most of the movie they're whining, and screaming...

i actually thoroughly enjoyed this. It's not exactly what i'd call a good movie, but it was coherent and entertaining enough if taken at face value.

Travis I have a feeling that you've watched a completely different movie, or have extremely, and I mean EXTREMELY low standards. This movie was literally a scam. The acting couldn't have been worse, it was 10 times worse than a soap opera. The 4k budget was spent entirely on the cover, and on bribes.
I have a feeling that you have something to gain out of all this positive commenting. Are you involved in any way with this "film"? Production? Distribution? Perhaps you were the camera man? ;)

Hah! Camera man? No. But I certainly have a vested interest in the film--I acquired it! Read my "about me". I certainly don't hide why I'm posting trailers.
The thing is, I have friends (critics and just movie loving friends) who hate it. And I don't tell them they're wrong--I know an equal amount of people who love it. The people who love it tend to "get" the same things I do out of it.

Good at least some people liked it, cos although i know it wasn't a masterpiece, it was at least a film i'll remember for a very long time. And what more do you want from a film like this, it was great!

I watched the films, its strange and if you just watch the first hour you'll think it was utter shite, but the ending jus tleaves you saying wow. Theres gore everywhere, and overall it is a good movie in my opinion.

I'm a B movie fan, but this show was a ripoff from beginning to end. Bought it at Walmart. Anamorphic widescreen? Not. Worst camera work, directing, video quality, acting. The whole movie isn't worth the cost of printing the fancy outside sleeve. The worst movie I have seen, without peer.

OH MY F**KING GOD! i watched this film last night for halloween with some mates and we decided this film was the worst film ever! You know the budget was only $4000! haha The only scary bit is when she runs out to them in the road with the shot gun! We all shat our selves (not literally) But seriously not good but funny with a couple of mates! The best bit is when plaster girl runs out of plasters and wen her dad is reall just concrete! HOW RANDOM! in my opinion the film is ok for the budget

I gotta admit I prefere low budjet movies over the handhelded cam. movies... it's been tried and didn't entertained me much.... at least this looks more interesting than most of the handheld cam. movies I have been forced to see so far.

I'm an A-Level film student and I have to say I'm deterred from this film because of the hand-held camera...afraid it might follow the footsteps of BWP, "Diary of the Dead" and "Cloverfield". Never one to judge by a trailer though...I'll rent it.
I'm very, very hesitant to do so, though. First of all the inane, jibberish-filled screams present in the trailer make me cringe and I already mentioned my concerns about the camera...but we'll see. It's recommended, so we'll see. :)

I didn't mind it, to be honest. The levels of hysteria got on my nerves very early on, but I was impressed with the insanity of the murderess. :) I'm not sure whether it's "good" or "bad", but I wasn't really rooting for the 5 girls at the end which is really only the result of poor acting rather than poor filmmaking. Good story, good camera work, detestable characters but good scare factor. I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks for the recommendation. :)

I think at first I thought Oh god... then it strangely became quite real feeling, especially when they left the camera in the car when the girls ran off into the woods, and all you could hear where gun shots and screaming. Im a progressing Filmmaker so I admire the idea of this film. Im tempted to watch it again.

I'm glad i rented it instead of wasting my money on a DVD.
Was not scary at all.
The acting was really bad, also the camera made me feel sick. Worse film i've ever seen. Even my 8 year old cousin didn't think it was scary.

this was not a shit movie! it was f****** awsum. and i think it makes it better with the crap camra it made it feel more real. ive watched every singel horror classic you can think of (eg the exorcist, phyco....ect) and this is the only one ive ever being scared watching lol.Just watch it all the way thru it is awsum

Where do you live? It has been released in most countries, but I think it comes out in the states in September. As for the trailer being good, but the film not--the trailer is just footage, dialog and music from the film. They are both brutal and awesome (IMHO).

It is one of my favorite movies of 2007. Just very very smart, but it does have some faults due to the budget. Still at the end of it you feel like you've been punched in the stomach!

It definately took some time to get used to. At first I was like "Oh god". But by the time the driver was confesing what a b*tch she had been to her friend (after her dad's ashes get spilled), I thought it was incredible.
I think most movies that feature "teenagers" as well. Basically every actor looks like a model ordering a drink from the bar. This movie felt completely real, and I think the raw performances are part of the reason. IMHO.
