If the cops believed the drivers were careless/wreckless, speeding, and/or "racing" and ticketed them for the offense, I doubt their insurance (even full coverage) will cover their losses. Because I first heard about it on the news, and they said it involved about 7 or 8 Ferraris, 3 Mercedes, a Nissan Skyline, and one Lamborghini.
