It came out in 1975. I remember very well, because I was a US soldier stationed in Germany on leave in Berlin. We were allowed to visit East Berlin in Army dress uniforms. I went to the disco on the Alexanderplatz, and danced with those kids who wished they could be a paloma blanca that could fly over the Berlin Wall...and 14 years later they could walk through it. This sound represents freedom to me,.

I was an American soldier with leave in Berlin. I visited East Berlin and went to the disco on the ground floor of the famous TV Tower on the Alexanderplatz.
